  1. I can almost hear the Raccoons screaming already mate!,..thanks for the PM...cracking looking little pups mate,...if there was words to descibe how grateful i was, i would use them!..lol. Speak this weekend mate!.. PS..."I CANT f*****g WAIT!"...
  2. Alright mate, just wondering how the mum and the pups are doing?...I tried to call the other weekend, but your phone was engaged, i will try again this weekend,.. Hope there doing ok, and i will get that stuff mailed to you,.. Kye,.. PS, put some pics up if you get a second!..
  3. I found an earth last month, and it had Gray fox tracks running in and out of it, and my Lakeland was going MAD to let her in!,.. But there was snake tracks going in and out as well, and at this time, that means Rattle Snakes, and they are NOT a good thing!,..although meaning as they are hibernating, they could eb more lethargic,...but i 'aint gonna risk it!...i have a mate in OK and his dogs have been bitten but CottonMouths etc, and they have gotten over it,...but i dont think there venom is as deadly as the RattleSnake... Kye,.. PS...PickAxe, i should be getting a little male pup off
  4. Hi Leon,.. What size Bull type did you use?...I have a Middelton bred bitch, and we have a SMALL Staffie...the Staff is about 15" and 27lbs when he is fit...often wondered how a cross of the two would turn out?...bet they would be decent for barn hunting Raccoons...probably be a little to big for our earths though! Kye...
  5. Hi Ian,.. Im NO exspert on ANY form of hunting mate, and im sure i have got the wrong end of the stick regarding the Airedale mate,... Keep us posted about your dogs, its always interesting to hear of peoples different breeding programs... I wish you well with the project, and safe hunting! All the best,, Kye..
  6. Hi Ian,.. All i know is that IF they was like a proper terrier, you wouldnt be able to hunt them on Mtn Lion and bear...you couldnt hunt a 50lb Lakeland or Patterdale on bear or lion,...they would just go in for a hold and get killed.. Just like on a VERY well known Airedale terrier breeders site, in AZ...theres a picture of TWO of them baying at a badger that cant weigh more than 25lbs...maybe if the Airedale Terrier wasnt called a terrier, i would like it more!?...maybe a better word class for them would be "A hard hound"??? Im sure they will take a hold of pigs, but so will Collies, L
  7. Man, i cant beleave that me, Royston and little Nathan are still alive!... We used to hand catch rats, and they would spray piss, every where...never wore gloves, ours hands got covered in rat blood, piss, crap, cow muck...god only knows what!.. I cant ever remember being sick,...i can remember one time me and HOTWINGS was ratting in a place which is now done buy Royston,.. HOTWINGS' great Bull X bitch, Pipi (RIP) who was a GREAT hunter of all quarry, and a great marker on rats, had marked a rat under a tire, i moved the tire, and Pipi snatched the rat up and ragged it so hard it fell apar
  8. Is that the B&T owned buy your mate B.....? She looks a great type mate...maybe if he puts her to a Grey, he would sell us a pup?.. Kye,..
  9. Yeah, ive seen Grey take foxs to,..as have most im sure...but killing one or two a fortnight is VERY different from killing 4-6 in a night single handed,... I like Greyhounds though...my mate has a GREAT Greyhound bitch in OK,...she is slow for a Greyhound, but still fast enough to bring home the bacon!...plus she has only had one bad injury in her carrer (touch wood!)...a real nice bitch to walk out with.. Kye,..
  10. Taffy, a mate of mine who comes over to train a few times a year has a mate that keeps Kerry Blues...he said they are quite "up for it", but they havent been tested to the best of my knowledge?.. As for Airedales,...i dont rate them as a breed in a whole...not the ones over here anyway,...if you ask me, a dog that is supposed to be a terrier, but weighs in between 45-75lbs, they shouldnt be baying at much...but guys that use them on Pigs and the like, they show pictures of three Airedales baying at pigs...we have a Staff, and when we took him to OK, he held a 120lb Pig, the first he ever saw
  11. Ive seen some very nice Beddie X greyhounds...and one or two very hard Collie X's as well.. Kye..
  12. Obviously the Bull, Wheatens etc are game dogs sometimes used in the production of lurchers,.. But what breed would you say, other than the breeds commonly labelled as "Game", would you say is the gamest... Ive seen a few Labrodors kill Foxs, and some Collies do a good job...i had a Spaniel that drew a few Foxs, but it didnt like the job, and did quit after two!..lol. Ive heard some of the German types (GSP, GWP etc) can be hard...any storys, exsperiances??. Kye,..
  13. Hes looking nice now mate!...glad he didnt turn out like that 'orrible brindle thing...couldnt catch a cold!... Kye..
  14. Ahh, thems the ones Moll,..brings back some good memorys!... ...thanks mate!... All the best pet.. Kye..
  15. I got the litter sister to Mollys bitch and that thing was slaughtering rats at 12 weeks,...and i do mean SLAUGHTERING..lol. But as Moll says, hers was a little older before it started...I can remember little Bricca (my bitch) drawing and killing three large adult rats, in about 10 seconds when she was just 14 weeks...I was there, Royston2 from this site, and Hern and HOTWINGS from the old smoochers site...we was all a little gob-smacked to be honest!..lol. No point in rushing them mate...i would agree, MOST good terriers will kill rats at 3-4 months...but WHY risk it!?...i would start MOS
  16. Guys, type in British Big Cats society...you will see that there HAS been big cats shot, a Lynx was shot on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, and there has been other such evidence found,... A friend of mine who goes to Africa twice a year, goes to a place that has highest population of Leapords in the wild, in the world...it takes them weeks to shoot one!..lol. CA is full to the brim with Mtn Lion...no one ever sees them, unless its being treed buy hounds, or its chewing on the back og there neck!..lol. Kye,..
  17. For some reason i seem to be able to pick the ones that wont make the grade!...lol. Lucky for me and my digging buddy, we will both be living a short distance from each other soon, as opposed to living 14 hours away from each other!..lol. We have both agreed, all that we breed will stay and be run on until there 18 months to two years old...workers will be kept, Non-workers will be gone!.. Luckily we will have enough room for all that, and thats the way im going to be able to do things with ours terriers and our Staghounds!...i look forward to it!.. Kye,..
  18. Yeah, Kansas will be visited buy me on a regular basis when im in MO...coyotes, hares and rabbits will be on the menu there me thinks!... ,..try and get some video clips for you boys when we get moved!... Hopefully, fingers crossed, i should be getting a little black pup from two guys off of here...i will make a post every month to show his progress, but its not set in stone, you know what these pups are like!...grow like weeds!..lol. Kye,..
  19. Cheers FR..gald you liked the pics Andy!.. Kye..
  20. Thanks Shaun...its not what i got him for, but he just loves killing stuff!...whats a guy to do eh!?..lol.. I dont have any idea mate...my good mate FR put that up on another site, and i was bord one day, so i just cut and pasted it over to here...cheated realy!...i bet everyone who knows me was thinking, "How the feck did that dumb twat do that!??"... Kye..
  21. Bought forward for Andy Super Dogs...but i cany see any pictures?...maybe this computer?..just enmpty rectangles with a small red cross in the corner?...hope you can see 'em andy!.. Kye,..
  22. Bought forward for Andy Super Dogs!,..
  23. Bought forward for Andy super dogs!..
  24. Yeah Kiwi, i have no complaints with mine...the magazines are crap though...the 10 round, metal magazine that comes with it are good and reliable,...but we have tried buying the 20, 30 and even 50 round ABS plastic one, and they are shite.. Like you said Kiwi, the more i shoot the dam thing, the more i love it,.. When Stabs came over, we shot 13 jack rabbits in about 15 minutes...and there was some tricky shots, and even a few running shots...i have had some real fun shooting all kinds of varmints with it, and when i get to MO, it will be belting them tree rats over!..lol. Kye,..
  25. I will be honest guys, i have a 10/22, and its the BEST gun i have ever had!,.. Killed Gray foxs and Coyote at 100+ yards with it...all head shots...loads of squirrels and a TRUCK load of rabbits and hares...about every 200 rounds i MIGHT get a jam,...but i cant even remember the last time it jammed... I use Federal solid nose .22...realy is a great gun, and i can shoot 1" groups at 100 yards...i would never think of owning another gun...it has done me very well, in some of the harshest/roughest terrain in Nevada, and Arizona... I couldnt be without mine!,.. Kye,..
