Isnt the dark strange!?...Ive been out lamping on my own THOUSANDS of times, and not once have i been scared,...but there was this one bit of woodland i used to have to cross/walk through, and i always hated it,..dont know why, and i walked through lots other woods at night and not been bothered... I know we are all big tough guys, but we all have our fears and phobias!,.. I hate heights,..well thats not quite correct, i have done Rock climbing and dont mind tall bridges etc,...but i HATE ladders, and i fecking HATE flying!.. I used to be scared of spiders,..but since a woman in CA caught one, and we took it home and the kids have it for a pet, im not bothered buy them at all,...in fact, i would get another as the kind of fascinate me now!.. Some good sound replys there fellahs!,.. I agree with Trev regarding Tyson,...in his hay day (which imo, was when he was 19-22) he was LETHAL,..boxers feared him, and he would dispatch his opponents...but the last fight i saw him in, he was fighting some Irish lad, who although seemed a nice guy, would have been killed buy a much younger Tyson...You could see Tyson looking around, and when being tended too, he was shaking his head and just didnt want to be there,..he was just fighting to pay off his debt...imo, NOT the sign of a fighter...a fighter should fight BECAUSE he is a fighter,...YES,

Funny you should say that Taffy,.. I once watched a fight where a smaller guy (about 160lbs) fought a guy of about 185lbs,.. The big guy dominated the fight for the first five minutes, and had beaten one eye totaly shut, and broken his nose...the smaller guy had broken a hand while hitting the bigger guy,...although the bigger guy dished out more, you could see the total bewilderment on the larger guys face!...why was this little fecker still standing, and how could he still make punishing blows with a broken hand?... The fight continued, and it was one of the longest fights of that type

I think the harder and more you train, the LESS likely a fight will occure...well trained fighters seem to KNOW that they will win,..so why fecking bother!!... I think that is when you feel that "Joe Bloggs" is no longer a threat, so some can become complaicent... Yeah, i dont know if i would call it sly/judas punching,...if some guy is mouthing off, and imo, it inevitable its going to kick off, im going to hit him,...both people new what was going to happen, and in most situastions, the first one to punch, is normally the winner,..."Best to be judged buy 12, than carried buy 6!"...lol. Size can have alot to do with it in a fight,...if you have two guys, one being 150lbs, the other 170lbs, both trained and determined, the bigger will win...but this is NOT always the case... True, good fighters can be born, but i would say many are a product of there upbringing, what can happen when there kids etc,...alot of fighters, imo, are a product of there enviroment...then when they start training, they are lethal imo,.. When your struggling (fighting) from day one, you are a fighter without knowing it, just fighting a different battle,...its just a gradual progression from there i think,.. Would like to hear from anyone who has had (for digging) Bull X terriers (Russells, Patts, Lakeland etc) and what they thought of the type?...Also what size did they go to, wastage in the litters?...what size Bull was used?...where they hard?..bayers?...did you loose nose, hunting ability through the addision of the Bull blood?...how where they with other dogs etc?.. I would agree with the High-Pain thresh hold mate, you MUST be able to take it as well as dish it out... Stamina is essential in a competison style fight...or controlled combat, set rounds etc,...but a fight in a Pub, i would say you dont need stamina, or to put it a better way, you probably wont need it, as the fight will end to soon...a fight that lasts more than a minute is a long fight, imo.. What makes a fighter a fighter,...pride?...desire?...grit?.. Quite a few highly trained guys over here in Vegas,...some have been doing BJJ for upto 10 years etc, and i have seen them defeated buy smaller, less trained (in MMA style fighting that is) in a few rounds/minutes...why?...on paper the bigger guy should win, shouldnt he?... I paid 70 quid for my red bitch, from a guy i never met, and that was to basicly pay for the stud fee...she was the healthyest pup i have ever seen, and when in england had paid me three fold for what i paid already!..lol. She is turning out handy, and any fault she has has been due to where i live and lack of exsposure,..thats gonna change preaty fecking quick mind you!..lol. I could EASILY get $1000 a pup from her, and i do mean EASILY!...especially if i mated her to a few of the SHITE (but good LOOKING dogs) that have come over here...needless to say, she may/not be bred from as yet...b

Wasnt it Cyril Breay who said "Never breed from a dog (male) unless it can kill a fox!"...Thats the road im sticking to i tell thee!..lol..i suppose it better when you have a dog AND bitch doing it mind you!...lol. Pups are never a sure deal, but i wouldnt mind paying up to 150 quid for a well bred one...i think my lass payed 500+ for her old Mauser (Old Jones type white dog) which is a hell of a price for a pup...but luckily, he turned out to be one of the best terriers i ever dug to, and i would have a kennel full of them just like him,...sadly RIP now though. Well, he will get a hard but FAIR life over here mate, good grub, good after care,...non of this working him sore and all that shit!... ...he will see a varity of game, and im hoping that he deals with it in the manner in which his parents do!...like you said, there always a chance with a young pup...but life is full of chances mate...you just have to take them...me and FR will put some dig on him when he is ready, and you can come over and watch him decimate american quarry!...hope to use him on Coon mostly though!..
