Well that skinny twat Socks has been given me info on a few training routines, and my progress is as follows.. I have been doing weights since i was about 14-15 years old, and when i turnt 19-20 i started training real hard...but because i didnt get enough rest, and my nutrison was poor (due to lack of funds!) i feel that i didnt achieve my full potential.. When i came to america, i took a little break from the weights, mainly to soak it all up,...the lifestyle change, culuture etc.. But after a while i got back to it, and started doing a little running and push-ups etc...i got in "shape

I would agree, a great allrounder that one,...i beleave Scooby is made up of mostly Pharoh hound with a dash of KC Borzoi...there is a smidge of whippet in there too.. Kye..

Chuck Norris dosnt hunt bears,...Bears RUN from Chuck Norris!..lol.

They only eat Californians!,...they have quite a few attacks there every year i beleave...one killed and ate two bike riders in one day i think?..i cant quite remember?...ive yet to see one yet,..im sure the only time i will see one is if i go out with hounds or Curs.. Kye,.. PS..great cat there though mate,..glad your getting some hunting done!

I guy down in NM (i think) got a 65-70lb Mtn Lion with his Staghounds not long back Taffy...he had three or four dogs on it, but a couple was pups, and he has a tough dog named "Joe' that done most of the work..."Joe" is the uncle to my young bitch i beleave. Also, my good mate that bred my gear told me once they caught a 140lb cat in CO, with four big strong Staghounds...funnily enough they had him stretched out fairly quick, and although they got damage, it was nothing that you would think from such an encounter!.. All four Staghounds where 100+lbs, so they 'aint no big whippet...they ca

Idaho, Wyoming,..same thing!..lol...they sure look alike!...quite like the places me and FR looked like when we hunted there.. Nice to see someone keeping the breed alive...always liked them, but i wouldnt be keen on paying for a pure bred, and having to get rid if it didnt make the grade...Idaho seems like a nice place to live/hunt.. Well Rey, keep up the good work, and i hope you have many happy years hunting them beautiful dogs!.. Kye,..

I agree with Chilli,.. I used to breed around 30-60 ferrets a year,...most where bro/sis, father/daughter, mother/son matings...my line was tight, and they where GREAT workers...all based on an old jill named "Half-Tail",..i had some ratting with her and Royston2, and she KILLED nine adult rats, two of which had nests,...she lost her tail, and one ear...also a front foot,...i spent some good money at the vets getting her good, and she would still go on rats, never quit...although after that i just used her for rabbits, but every now and then she would find a rat in a rabbit warren and either

Hi Rey,.. That looks like WY to me?..i could be wrong though? Do you ever run into Coyotes with the Borzois mate?...always wondered how they would fair against toothed quarry?...beautiful dogs mate. Kye,..

If i was you, i would have the bird breast side DOWN,...Then when all the juices gather at the bottom, it keeps the breast meat moist...when you pull it out of the oven, let it stand for five to ten minutes, it will soak up a little juice as it cools off a little...also, rap it up in bacon, or just do what we used to d oand kill a load, sell them to someone, and go get a Curry and a few Beers!..lol. Kye..

I know how you guys feel!,.. Ive been throush some rubbish,...from fighters, and stock killers, to quitters, and just plain Culls,...its hard, but none where past on from post to post and bred from,...they all went the same route. But my little lakeland is coming on nice, and i feel with more work will be a handy type,...and two welsh lads are helping me out with a pup that has some parents that graft, so fingers crossed he will go well for me over here...my digging partner has some nice bitches, so totaly counting are ckickens before they hatch, this pup coming over may sire some nice digg
-
I LOVE that bitch!...what a grafter!...put to a good Grew, them pups would do well on these here Jack rabbits i think!.. Kye..

All my dogs will lte me take food away from them,..even bones/flesh etc,.. Me the wife and FR where hunting in AZ not long back...my Stag bitch (31" and odd pounds) had a bone or summat, and i put my hand near her, and she made a little grumble...to say i gave that dog a hideing was an understament...if you had been five yards away, you wouldnt even have heard it!...i gave her the bone back, and then went to take it away, and she just let me have it with a sorry look on her face...i praised her up, and let her have it back and that was the last i ever heard of it!... I dont mind a dog grow

Well mate, it takes a BIG man to admit hes a pussy!,.. ..lol. Just kidding mate, i know what you mean,...good mates a VERY hard to come buy, even harder than good dogs!.. When i lived in my Van for three months, i was alone apart from my two mutts,...it was not f*****g nice, and if i hadnt of had them, i dont know what the f**k i would have done!?.. Kye..

Grappling is a GREAT form of fighting,...ONE person!,..and, imo, only if you have too!...you need to know how to grapple, because other wise, if you dont know, and you DO end up on your back, your f****d!..lol. But first and formost, you should be a striker, imo anyway...you can fight multiple people, and still be aware of your surroundings,.. I watched a GREAT Judo player in a fight once...this guy could have a scrap i tell you!...he ended up fighting some guy outside a pup, and while he was messing about on the floor, the guy who he was thrashing, his girlfriend stuck a wine glass into h

Thats right mate,..also why some feel like they need to shit or piss,...its the body trying to empty itself before running/combat...like i said, it NOT fear, its nature!...thats the way we are geared.. Kye,.. PS...been a good read this guys!...keep it up.
-
Hi Duz,.. You are talking about Royce Gracie (said Hoyce)...He and a few others (Carlos) where VERY succesful in the UFC,...but the rules have been changed against there favour imo,...they used to just have a fight, and it went on until the fight ended,...but know its three, five minute rounds, or five, five minute rounds for championship boubts,...not good for the grapplers, as many liked to wear an opponent down,...know they even stop the fight if two guys hit the mat and are not actively working for a given move/hold...which is nice in some ways because you get to see more striking, but i

Yeah Tomo, read ALL his books, very good fighter,...funnily enough though, i dont think he turnt out many good guys judgeing buy the " Animal Day" videos...i was quite dispointed buy them,...his books make sense though, and i have put a few things from them into practice...the "Fence" is VERY effective, i can tell you!..lol. Im NOT saying im never scared,...im calling that feeling/emosion, something different...or looking at it differently...as GT said.."Fear,...the friend of exsepional people"...aye Tomo! As for weapons...as a general rule, i have found, if you can SEE them, 90% of the ti

I can honestly say i would never put a dog in the ground again, unless i had a Bellman and Flint on it!... Kye..

Rabbit Hunter, most people (myself included) are NOT scared before a fight...but neither are YOU!.. You see, ive looked into this in quite some depth, and fear is a recent invension...its NOT fear as we know it, but your bodys natural reaction to a hostile situastion...some call it the "Fight or Flight" feeling, but its actaully caused buy a massive adrenal dump in the body, caused buy the brain... It is a inbuilt thing in any living animal, to a lesser or greater degree...the extra adrenalin is your bodys way of giving you a boost of that exstra "something" when you need it!...if you chos
