-
My Lakeland will carry back anything i shoot...she is great for Doves birds...can be a little hard mouthed though.. Kye,..

Possoms are usualy around, 4-10lbs i would say...7-8lbs being an average...they have the MOST teeth of any animal in america!...FIFTY!...FR had one that went 19lbs and it looked like a badger with a rats tail! In my very limited exsperiance with them, i would say 8 out of 10 are easy...BUT every now and then you get a horrible little b*****d!..lol. Most seem to get hit buy the dog and then they "Go Possom"...most dogs go down and hit them, they fight for a little then go soft...sometimes a dog leaves them, because they let off a stink like there dead. Some people dont like them, but imo,

Some fecking napper on that first dog mate!...dont worry about the chest being spannable, i would worry about the head!...lol. Nice type that! Kye,..

Over here, the RedTail Hawk is deemed as a starter bird to fly, but back home, when my dad was in the falconry circle, it seemed that Harris where thought of as beginners birds,... I like both types, maybe lean more towards the Harris, being so level headed and easily maned.. What do you guys prefer...dont seem to be many RedTail guys out there anymore!?.. Kye,..

If they are found out, im sure Dillon with give them a punishment that they deserve... Im not a religious man of any kind...BUT..."Eye for a Eye, tooth for a tooth!"... If there is any justice in this world, they will be caught!.. Kye,..

Cheers SL.. He sure does please me mate...and more infact!...lets see what he makes of heavy toothed quarry this coming season though...he might be crap on Yotes?...but if he is anything like his parents he should come good!...fingers crossed eh!?.. Kye,..

The Saluki cross is the ultimate jack rabbit dog imo,...but i dont hunt just jacks...like i say to my digging buddy.."Owt [bANNED TEXT] 'air on"..lol. If im honest, i would match that Blister dog against a Saluki, or Saluki hybrid...he has done 2-3, single handed before, and has taken Jacks single handed in a five and a half minute course, and carried them back!...as for salukis having more stamina...they could have, but when these dogs are fit, they can stay...ive seen Blister slipped on 100 yard Jacks and catch them...not catch 'em quick, but he will get 'em, unless they get to the sage an

I never said it was you muscle bound freak!..lol.. I just put up what i do for mine...i like to try and keep the pads tough against the cactus! Kye..

Road work is essential where i am, due to the exstremely bad terrian...but more so is getting the dogs used to the heat...thats where the lake comes in handy....first week, i just road work,3-4 miles late at night maybe midnight...its cool enough then... After a week of that, i increase the pace, but keep the same distance...as soon as i can bike with them for five miles on the raod at around 10mph, they start running behind the truck at night...plus i swim them in the day... i wont run my dogs local on anything until the weather gets under 68F...they are only good for one run though...as s

Nice pic SJ!.. That picture could have come from a 100 years ago!...could do with a nice 'un like that over here!...I bet there 'aint many working Beddies over here in the States!..lol. Keep up the good work!.. Kye..

I agree...at the start of the season, me and my brother used to start off with about 45-65 ferrets, although but the end of the season we had around half that amount!...75% of there feed was Rats...they looked great on it...i just let them cool down, to get the lice and fleas of them, and cut the tails off...the only reason i cut the tail off was to stop the ferrets hideing them in there HUGE court though...no other reason than hygene!..lol..i found that they ate everything...rats are far better, nutrision wise, than rabbits... Kye,..
-
Cheers Kane...shes a belter i think...would be better of being 3" taller and 15lbs heavier though!...lol. Shes a good little dog imo!.. Kye..

Peter, they would be IDEAL for a naughty young man such as yourself!...lol. Fast, BAGS of stamina, and not affraid to take a hold...Feet better than a pur Border Collie... No shit, i have run our collie on rabbits, the same place i run them Stags and she has recked her feet...touch wood, apart from skinned stopper pads, the Stags are un-touched buy the rugged terrain!.. GREAT dogs! Kye..

It IS the middle of the desert!..lol. No gates and hedges here mate...just rough rock, and dry mud and sage!..lol. Kye..

I REALY like the Beddie x Greyhound...if you can get a male that goes 23-24 1/2" they are belters imo... The best fox dog i ever seen was a Beddie/Grey X'ed to a 3/4 Grey 1/4 Bull....i seen it take two roe, a hare, in the morning, and it drew and killed two foxs in the afternoon with terriers...it marked the foxs to ground also...it was taken out lamping that night and took 8 rabbits and done everything but kill a REALY, REALY big fox!...If i was in the UK i would have a dog liek that in a heart beat...real nice type!...the said dog was brindle, slightly broken coat, and was 26"...dont know w

the 17hmr, is a FUN gun...but there is NO way i would call it a coyote gun...ive taken gray fox with it, good broadside shots and have had to look for them!...they are a praire dog, rabbit busting barrel of fun...but tat it IMO... I know a guy who shot a yote square in the head at yards with the 17hmr...the coyote ran off, and he chased it down with the shot gun...after dispatching the coyote, he looked at the back of the head, and it was just a realt savage flesh wound...poor thing...he sold that gun. I have done a TON of shooting with the Rem 700 in .22-250...it blows the shit out of an

Cheers guys.. Yeah, i PM'ed a mate, and told him what i was doing, and it turns out im basicly doing the same as him!..lol...This guy knows the game well, so its encouraging to hear im doing the right thing! At the moment im doing small and often.. Monday...Chest. Tuesday...Arms (Bicep-Tricep) Wednesday...Back. Thurday...Shoulders. Friday...Legs ( I dont know why, but i HATE doing legs!..lol.) Seems to work for me...i only train for about 40-50 minutes, but lift heavy as i can, and intense...hardly no waiting between Sets... Ive also found stretching has helped size, and recovery,.
-
Alright guys,.. Who here trains with weights, for strength/size?...what routines do you do, and what suits you best?...how many times a week do you train, for how long?...do you lift heavy and little, or light and lots?...any routines for mass/strength?...Stuck on a major plateau at the moment!...lol. Kye,..
