  1. I wasn't having a dig at you mate who ever gave you the rodenticide would be in bother if it went wrong and it can potentially wrong for every one at from time to time
  2. You can only buy full strength if you have an appropriate certificate and would need to do a suppliers course . To be fair the Sapphire brodifacoum paste or any rodenticide over 30 ppm is professional only product so shouldn't have been even gifted really. Brodifacoum is very strong and even the half strength public available bait will easily kill rats . You might need to feed little more but it will easily do the job. Half strength can only be brought 300grams at a time. This is because numpties didn't read the labels scattered it all over the place and killed things they weren't supposed t
  3. If the doors was kept shut and cleaned afterwards it might just pass but you can never ever rely on the customer doing what they are told and when the door was opened (which it certainly would be )and not shut ( again certainly would be ) you'd be killing birds , squirrels , hedgehogs and god knows what else. Bait boxes would have reduced spillage of eaten bait by a load and made far safer , block bait would have been even better
  4. Ive been doing wasps nests commercially for five years . Ficam will be sorely missed as it didn't piss the wasps off and they didn't try to find alternate ways in out the nest to avoid the powder. Ive been using Vulcan which is a Pemethrin based one, not bad product but pisses wasps off and if your treating a hole around a tile etc you have to treat exit holes all round or wasps just dodge it!!. I think people who just throw up poles on a wasp duster to treat roofs and soffits will struggle. I go in lofts when treating as you can quite often see nest and break a hole and dust with very few ca

Air arms .177 Hunter carbine very nice condition shoots spot on , This was my third gun and slimming down collection. It might have a very few minor blemishes although I cant see any. Its got no rust , shoots super accurate with AA pellets I bought with it . Easy hit knock downs or pests out to 40 meters . Can post at buyers risk ( would only be insured for £100 pounds ) Its like new really just run in , selling as I need less guns but have a few bills !! Its probably eight months old . Probably the best most accurate springer out of the box you can buy . You can collect if you want to although on Isle of Wight if you want to try before you buy. These are going for about 620 pounds new With the scope etc probably abut 750 pounds new . So bit of bargain need gone ASAP includes postage can knock 20 pounds off if collected . Comes with Hawk POA 3-9x50 , mounts . As you can see from photo guns pretty immaculate Heres what Airm Arms say about them The TX200hc mk3 Hunter Carbine is AirArms best selling carbine springer. AirArms have fitted the mk3 with a softer spring and this makes the rifle easier to cock and control, but it still gives the same amount of power. The Mk3 is the darling of the tournament world and this is down to its high levels of accuracy and controllable nature. The rifle is naturally quiet as it has a built in moderator . The Hunter carbine has a shortened barrel and this makes it easier to manipulate in the field. The HC also has the ability to have a silencer fitted. this gone to pay bills so price reflects that Shooting Insurance

  7. Cytrol forte is my go to product for moths a simple product and with out a insect growth regulator I(GR) A product with a IGR will keep moths in caterpillar/larvae stage which is when they do all the damage !. I use Cimetrol super EW with an IGR for bed bugs fleas when the growth regulator helps
  8. Depends on trap , usually a tiny bit bigger than trap. Make it too high rabbit will jump as trap springs and you wont get a clean kill/catch. Fenn traps will jump a inch or so when they go off . Tunnel length the longer the safer for non targets , think of a larger animal or person trying to put hand or paw down tunnel and make it a bit longer so they cant reach trap. Use a couple of sticks or similar and restrict entrance just wide enough for rabbit to enter but nothing bigger

The gun shown in main pictures is a HW95 just for your info
  10. I found caught more rabbits going through fence lines or hedges, put a wire tunnel over run and let rabbits get used to going through them for a week or two. then set fenn. caught quite a few that way. Either that or use cage traps. If rabbits are a nuisance then pest control a must .If your just getting a few for the pot then decent air rifle and some time waiting for them to appear
  11. This year found a lot of rat jobs rats only visiting customers lofts every week or so. Get some tracking powder down and when you hear noise again check powder
  12. Get some cheap granola cereal , trail it through box over trap and put a bit behind trap , rats are super touchy about taking bait from bait cups on traps but will follow a trail and quite often step over trap (and get caught) to get to bait behind , dont know why just happens
  13. Large dog poo bag will also work you need to keep dirt from under pan or trap wont go off. get a small sieve from garden centre and sieve dirt on stones will also go under pan
  14. If you shorten you might remove choke making it less accurate , I had a adapter for my HW99 and fitted a silencer, didnt make much difference to noise at all I took it back off!!!
  15. If you know squirrels are likely to eat Difenacoum bait then you shouldn't use it as it doesn't state you can use against squirrels. The fact rats may be present also doesn't make it legal. Id use fenns or body grips . The labels the law as the saying goes
  16. Not a lot I charge twenty five quid an hour plus set up fee . Its a job I enjoy doing being in fresh air and not being up to my elbows in rat crap crawling around a loft so i charge just enough to make a small profit on moles
  17. I started my business at 48 years old . I did start it along side my old job for two years just to build it up a bit and see what works out there . Good way odf starting and takes a way a lot of pressure. I would advise following Get a basic rodenticide course and insect course under your belt - will allow you to buy professional products . Kilgerm and others do day courses. Get decent insurance its not too expensive and if some thing goes wrong youll be glad you didnt go cheap and cheerful. As soon as you can get a RSPH2 course in pest control done .its an eye opener espec
  18. Yes they will eat it, have to be very careful where i live when treating rats as we have red squirrels . If customer has seen them in garden for example i will uses traps in a tunnel as for some reason reds dont seem to go into tunnels unlike greys seem to. another safe place is under closed decking where only the rats seem to go ever
  19. i found traps worked better outside of the safety cage, so they are great for example in lofts, I know some times you have to use one for safety. I would may be knock up one in wood ive always had more luck with wood rather than wire , maybe the rats like the fact wood boxes are dark? When you get your trap remeber the rat has to lift the trigger arm so use some thing quite hard as a bait so rats cant nick it- Bertie basset sweet or a hard chew or chocolate sweet. Pop some oats and /or wheat in the little bait tray, rats get confident feeding at trap that way
  20. Hi Arry bought these from ultimate traps Ireland , I know Kim at Discount Pest control makes a box to
  21. A sweet like a squishy or Liquorice all sort in trigger work well put some peanuts or porridge in bait tray as well , good catchers the Black cats . rats feed on tray before trying to get bait on trigger and it over comes neophobia
  22. Think Killgerm do a warfarin based one for squirrels , Difenacoum / Bromadialone etc are rats / house mice only. read labels they state what species you can use them against, labels are on most suppliers websites
