  1. im just glad he isnt putting werewolves down on his application........the silver bullets would cost a fortune!
  2. Too many! I think i will vary between 10 and 20 cups of tea a day
  3. My son made me laugh this morning. he knows a fair bit for a 7 year old and we were talking about having what you were allowed to shoot was written down on you fac. He asked me what i was allowed to shoot and i said that my fac stipulated foxes for my .223. He turned round and said that when he gets a gun he will have foxes and zombies on his!!! i think he's been playing too many video games, but it made me chortle! I wonder what the boys in blue would do if they read his application?
  4. I personally went for the "deluxe" version and , no, i didnt bother with the filters.

couple of reasons, firstly we can ban a members e mail address, they simply get another e mail address and re join under a different name, so the only way is to ban the IP address, thats where the trouble starts, as certain internet providers, aol for one, use the same IP address for more than one member, so us banning an individual, could infact ban 100's, secondly, as has been seen lots of times, you ban one member, only to get multiple topics started titled, wheres so and so gone, wanting to know the ins and outs of a ducks arse, and slatting the mod who issued the ban, top man stubb

I really dont know the details of "why" and "when" but i was really pi**ed off today when i read that THL had shut. Question. if ian b is saying their is too much slagging off going on, why dont the mods boot off any trouble causers straight away? It seems really simple to me, but i obviously cant see the wood for the trees. can someone explain?
  7. Great going ian. Get the mods to come down hard on troublemakers, please. I lurve this forum so dont scare me again!!
  8. Ive got one the same, great lamp. My mate came out with me a few times and he bought one after having a few good nights out with it. Another friend who i shoot with is buying one this week coincidentally. enough said?
  9. What a carry on i had on monday. About 6'oclock at night the other half decides she wants to go shopping so we all gets in her car (a newish mini) and goes to the local retail park. Coming back at 9 or so she stops at a petrol station for milk. While its stood i smell burning so i get out and look under the bonnet, sure enough smoke so i gets the kids out and we discuss calling the AA. At this we turns around and the car has set alight! Had to phone the fire brigade out to put it out, i felt a right tit but the kids loved it! The fire brigade reckoned 2 more minutes and it would have gone up
  10. I pay £35 for 500 eley subs. Wouldnt buy anything else now unless i had to.
  11. Great gun mate. ive got the "style"-cant fault it at all. Mine has a "nameless" mod on it , but is whisper quiet still.
  12. Aldi are selling nightvision at the moment for £90 and its excellent value for money
  13. Talking to a lad last night we got on to deer shooting. He reckons that because munties are always in season they arent covered by the "Deer Act something or other" and are therefore legally allowed to be shot with a shotgun. Is he right?
  14. Be patient! its only been on for 24hrs and youve bumped it three times!! Its a nice looking gun so it will go, just give it time!
  15. I put a pigeon trap down once, the cage with bob wires type in someones garden, and baited with corn. The next morning i got there and it was FULL of pheasants! There was that many they couldnt move!
  16. My version of "rough shooting " is rabbits, pigeon, squirrel etc and for this type of quarry surely nobody would pay.
  17. Worth a try. Cant see many problems in transportation, but like its been said, there will be a reason there is no rabbits.
  18. ??? I really cant understand your logic, i really cant. If no-one paid then no-one pays, simple. If someone pays, then someone richer will either pay slightly more to outbid him or the landowner will continue to put the prices up each year. There are loads of farms out there that will let you shoot, but people just dont like asking. The worst a landowner can do is tell you no! Anyone who pays to shoot rabbits and rough shoot is doing more harm for the sport than tree huggers in my eyes. It will kill it for us all.
  19. Im looking for a decent gun cleaning kit. Ive bought 2 from fleabay now that have turned out to be really crap, the brass adaptors really plastic sprayed gold etc. I want it for my .22 and .223. recomendations or someone with one for sale would be great. cheers
  20. NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!! Dont pay to shoot on farms. Its the begining of the end if you do. The farmer should pay us, not the other way around. YOU are doing THEM the favour by keeping the pests down. By all means ask him if he wants you to fix a broken fence or some daft job, but paying them!?! tell him to Feck off! id rather poach the place, greedy bas*ard.
  21. I bought some from lidl last year for just over a hundred and they are well worth the money if that helps. Dont know if they are the same but there is some decent gear in aldi.
