  1. rabbiteer (or anyone) , is this size 32 a good allround size? its obviously a good size for rabbits but will it cut ok for burgers?? cheers
  2. cheers fish. We will have burgers for tea!
  3. just looking now. what does the numbers mean? there are number 8's on ebay, whats it signify??
  4. im looking too. Im wanting to start bunny burgers.
  5. He is an immense force striking and kicking, and his ground game is also excellent. The only chink in his armour(for me) is he looks uncomfortable getting hit, so if a big hitter like wanderlai silva can avoid his strikes and keep on his feet then they could take him.
  6. http://www.mmalinker.com/index.php Cant decide whether fedor was super or sylvia was crap.
  7. Its a great division- got to be the best weight division for amount of talent! Anderson is truly amazing but he's got liddel, rampage, griffin and wanderlai silva to get past to name a few! Although hes now to divisions away, GSP would have been an awesome opponent for him! I reckon lyoto machida will take the title in the future so i would dearly love to see them two fight.
  8. You just ask the flo when he visits. It isnt a big deal if you get a closed, at least youve got the certificate. The only difference is if you go somewhere different from the land you told the police about, you phone up your flo and ask if the different bit of land is covered for your calibre, if it is - fine. It really isnt a big deal.
  9. I sent mine back for a .223 to be added and i got both the 22 and 223 on an open after only 6 months. My mate got an open on application, he is ex army though and knows his guns.
  10. Excellent! if it catches on i will have to nip down to the local indian to see if he wants to buy some off me.........it will make a change from dog and cat
  11. I think its the photo ian, its actually quite large. A month is ample sufficient time in this weather to get a LOT of flys, and yes, they do stink!
  12. A couple of them in the garden would go down a treat! reminds me of day of the triffids!
  13. This is them on fleabay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wasp-Fly-Dome-Trap-P...1QQcmdZViewItem I dont know about putting jam etc in it though!?! I stick to the proper gear and get proper results.
  14. You put a sachet of attractant into the dome, fill with warm water and thats it! really easy. I buy them for a fiver, the attractant for £4, but i need to buy in bulk as it costs to send them to me. I sell them for £15 to customers, dome and attractant, thats me making £6 without postage.
  15. Thought id share a fly trap photo. I swear by these traps, they are easy to use and the results are startling! This one was 2 inch of solid flies in one month!! Im sure there are plenty of pesters on here who use them. I have one in the garden and it lessens flies considerably, especially handy where ferrets are!
  16. Well the weather stopped me having a barbie , so we had a traditional rabbit stew. I thought it was ok, the wife and kids liked it better than me, i could still taste that "rabbitty" taste that im not keen on.
  17. FFS! why is there a complete contrast in pictures?? All the girls are gorgeous, yet most of the blokes on here are the ugliest mo-fo's ive ever seen!! Somebody delete this thread before i get turned to stone
  18. I was out tonight with the 22lr ( well it wouldnt be the .223 as its not working ). Anyway, i was out only an hour and shot 6 rabbits, but i stalked each one and all were headshots, the furthest at a respectable 78 strides. I got thinking that if i had a 17hmr i could have shot the same 6 without the stalking, which then got me thinking is the high powered rifles that are being used for day to day shooting, lessening our bushcraft/stalking skills? I might be wrong as you still have to hit your quarry with your rifle at a further distance, but surely rabbiting regularly with a 17hmr and the
  19. There are supersonic rounds available. cci stingers are the most popular. I use dynamit nobel for when i want a bit more ooomph in my rimmy.
  20. Cheers mate. Ye, im a bit pissed off, but i'll get it sorted.
  21. Ok, cheers boys. I will take it back midweek. Really pissed off.
  22. Nothing that stands out! Ive tried it about 2o times in the last 5 mins, and about half of them eject, half dont. Could it be a wearing in thing? the wife suggested some wd40 so ive gave it a squirt and it seems to be the same
  23. The extractor claw "seems" to have a decent amount of retention so i cant work it out? Im hoping im doing something really obviously wrong, as surely a brand spanking new gun wouldnt go wrong straight away. Im absolutely gutted here, really sick.
  24. OK. i put the empty shell in, work the bolt but it doesnt pull the shell out. The extractor claw seems ok, it move out and springs back in fine enough .
