  1. Renzo Gracie Before that is UFC Fight Night21 which i think is in the early hours of this thursday featuring Roy 'Big Country' Nelson who won the last TUF. As i said previously the odds against(11/10) about Carwin was slightly more appealling to me so i had a few quid on when he drifted out to 7/4 Nice one! i went down to the bookies but GSp was 1-10, shite odds! I was ok the week before, i had £10 on Jones, kongo and JDS so that was ok.
  2. Ye, Gsp is superb at what he does. to be honest with you I was hoping he would stand and trade a bit. Im not against the ground game, far from it, but we all knew GSP had far superior ground skills and as arguably the P4P champion, i thought he could have came out of his safety net and traded a little. Though I guess being the champ he has the perogitive to do what he wants i suppose! LOL
  3. Penn v Edgar....Penn, easily. Silva v Maia... If it stays on the feet silva will outclass maia for sure, if on the other hand Maia can take it to the ground then it gets interesting!
  4. No suprise really. Its a shame the left wing banned the stop and search of kids for knives by police. I believe it was stopped because the black kids were being persecuted- yes, the same ones carrying. The police should be allowed to stop and search anyone they suspect, whatever the colour, and if they are caught fair and square lock them up for a week. If my son was ever caught carrying a knife i would tell the coppers to lock him up for a week to scare the shite out of him! If they cant fight like a man, lock them up like animals.
  5. If your having success with scissors then your doing nothing wrong.
  6. There are plenty gosses flown in the north east but he wants to be ready really before he gets it. A gos is A LOT different to a harris. When i went from harris to gos i found that falconry quite simply wasnt as fun , it was more of a challenge than anything. My first gos was a p/r german male and even though i enjoyed him it was hard work. I didnt mind the hard work but i just like to stress to anyone thinking of getting a gos its a different world. If your catching rabbits and having fun with a harris, you need to really think why you want to change for a gos, too many get one just because
  7. Your garden sounds very similar to mine, long, thin and south facing. I dont really stick to the crop rotation that seriously, i just move things the yearly things about where i feel like it like potatoes, cabbages etc. Your perrenials will need to be planted somewhere your happy with as they will keep coming back - If your planning to get a rotavator then dont plant them smack bang in the middle of your allotment, things like that. I have bramble right down one side of my garden to keep kids out and i get a good 1-2 lb of fruit daily at peak season too! Ive just put a bed of asparagus down
  8. Dont shoot them FFS. i know someone who had a problem with a cat. He lent a cage trap, caught it and gave it a serious soaking with the hosepipe while it was in the cage. He said it screamed like feck but once he released it , it hasnt came back. Sounds pretty callous but if anyone was considering trapping and shooting one i would strongly reccomend this instead!!!
  9. Im no authority whatsoever on poultry but i got 3 light sussex last year (and 3 marans). My light sussex were/are excellent layers. The only problem for me, but maybe not for you is that they seemed to take it in turn to be broody last summer. Im not interested in breeding, only for eggs so i wasnt impressed with the broodiness.
  10. Ive been looking for about 5-10 plants too. I want to hedge off a section of my allotment to hinder kids getting in and big spiky blackthorn will surely help, plus i get lovely sloes too! Ive been looking on fleabay but it seems they dont get delivered until october and i want them now!
  11. Good luck mate. I really enjoy my allotment (apart from when i get broken into) and i save loads of money on food too.
  12. Im chitting potatoes too. Swift first then pentlan javelin. Ive got onions planted and some more to plant, and shallots. Ive got broad beans in the greenhouse planted in pots too. Fruitwise, I planted some strawberries and rhubarb this week. Good luck with it. I am going to have another go at gardens peas this year, i think i sowed them too late last year and they did not really thrive and then they got eat by snails Go for it! Peas need plenty of manure, thats the secret with them.
  13. Thanks matt. I did the old bpca diploma part 1 a few years ago then it all changed to this rsh thing and i dont really know what it is or what level it is. My mate was doing the part 2 but said it would be no good to me, i dont vary my pc very much , i know very little on insects and urban pc. I tend to do the same rural pests day in day out.

  15. Cheers you lot. Allotment is all dug over and rotavated now, i am on form! Planted my japs, got beans and normal onions in the greenhouse too.
  16. Our lasses uncle is one of those glasgow ice cream murderers from years ago, not particularly famous but i like to take the piss out of her for it every now and again.

Trappa, I live up north near Middlesbrough, the bird was freelofted, had been out flying at the weekend and she caught a large buck she hit it hard and maybe she might of bruised her wing, she was fed up on it fully. She was dry when put back into the avairy but by Tuesday her wing was droopy and primary feathers started to fall out and her wing was swollen happened so fast.We did have extreme low temperatures at night but her avairy was well covered at night. She is fine now with new feathers growing. caught a large buck Just a guess but i think he means buck rabbit.
