    My fao just been this morning. He needed four photos in all for a coterminous renewal. I gave him eight but he gave me four back saying he only really needs four.

    Got a couple of eaters mate but the rest were dog crabs (green shore crabs) Not sure if theyre edible but i wont be trying!

    Had a mint afternoon with my boy crab chinking today. We had a good laugh and chinked a good 20 crabs though we left them, only a couple were takeable and then only borderline, the rest were dog crabs. Nice to teach the boy something, and he took to it like a duck to water, a proper pro in the making! Took a couple of photos at the start, wish id taken more now.

    Ive been digging up my potatoes for about a week now and and apart from a definite rise in the number of pots with slugs in (they are already hammering them!) it seems a decent crop. Anyway, my garden is on a slope but when i dug some of the ones up from the bottom, they have white spots on them?!? Ive googled it and it seems nobody is sure but its something to do with overwatering, which will be right considering the amount weve had in the past couple of months. Any one else got them?? Anyone ate these spotted pots?? Will get a photo up tomorrow.

    Ive been winkleing and crabbing at least a million times but last night i got told a should have a permit? This right? I thought it was ok just to nip down ,take a pound of winkles and a crab or 2 if found and be on my merry way.

    My fao is coming on thursday for coterminus cert. Ive got 6 photos?!?. "In the case of an application for both a shot gun and a firearm cert- *The shot gun application requires that one photograph must be endorsed by the countersignatory and one by you *the firearm application requires that each of the referees should endorse a separate photograph and that two photographs must be signed by you" Took that from the back of the shotty form in the notes under grant or renewal. That adds up to six in my eyes - 2 for shotty renewal, 4 for rifle. Do i Defo need 8??

    Ive just come in from a mooch through the woods not an hour ago and found a fiver. Thats about the best ive done.

    Pish poor. My marrows have been destroyed by slugs/snails. My pumpkins didnt germinate. Only done onions and tatties this year and they dont look brilliant. Probably worst year yet.
