  1. Got a bitch pup here that is similar way bred .... Both parent's are Saluki Grey X Collie Grey Here she is at 9 week's old . . . The one on the right by the way Nice looking litter of pup's p***y Poacher
  2. Like you said mate, "don't want to rush in and get the wrong dog" .... So you know what type/cross that you are looking for, just keep your eye's peeled for suitable litter's. Then go and have a look .... "But" as you have waited for the right pup to come along don't take a pup for the sake of it because you are there at the time. If the litter isn't that pleasing on the eye for some reason or another walk away . . . Best of luck mate
  3. Lovely looking animal ...... The Bull gene in him must be really strong, looks more than 16th Bull in him mate
  4. Great set of pic's again Magwitch.... Like the one's of the rabbit out in the field when it turned and left both dog's. Did that one get away ? ? Make for good breeding stock that one would
  5. That's a nice Kelpie, Greyhound, Labrador youve got there mate
  6. By the look of the Ferts, look's like the warren's were abit damp Good day out tho all the same
  7. This bitch of mine will usually go over a warren showing interest and then doubling back to certain holes, not a long frozen stare like some dog's. So you have to watch her and be able to read the sign's
  8. Agree with HBG, It's all about getting frustrated running game in woodland or thick cover when they are chasing but can't get there quick enough or as they are chasing keep losing sight of it's target. Some people say that with it being a young dog and will grow out of it.... I dis-agree ! ! Once a dog has done it it's alway's then in the dog and can resurface at any time. If it doesn't bother "YOU" Don't worry about it, if it does try and keep the dog out of cover for a while and see how it goes .... Good luck tho
  9. Commanche ..... Great write up of your bitch mate Don't ya just love um Besides that good thread to read this one fella's .... Certainly make's a refreshing change, Well done lad's
  10. That's a blast from the past Max.... They were alway's mentioned concerning whippet grey crosses. Are they still in the dog game do you know ? ?
  11. Supersam ..... Some beauty's youve got there mate, especially the black un .... He's a Cracker
  12. Lovely looking well reared pup's MLB , I know what the sire is so know what he look's like .... Any decent pic's of the Dam ? ?
  13. Fair play to ya Brimmer ..... 5ft dig Buggar that I think I would of sat it out and waited for the fert. Had a couple of dig's today only just over a couple of feet tho. You need to have a serious word with the old man mate
  14. They are a little on the skinny side after 2 days on the run mate, told the old chap to up the food for them, seen them lose it over the weekend, the milage they clock up takes it out of a dog. You doing much? Went out yesterday morning with my mate's pup and bolted a few. My bitch is layed up at the minute got a thorn stuck in her eye last sunday while out
  15. Well done Brimmer mate .... The young dog's look well
  16. Men against Boy's comes to mind Snoop .... We gave ya a goal start aswell Simo .... Should of pushed the boat out and made it a Tenner , Where's your faith
  17. I hope the horse doesn't run in America .... It's got nothing to prove now, and it would be a shame to go over there not settle and not handle the track and finish way down the field. It's a shame it didn't take in the Leger before the Arc
  18. Sorry to hear about the bitch Chester ..... Hopefully she was just having a off day like we have Re: Let's hear about other people's bad day's ... Bloody hell mate I would be here all day ! !
  19. My sentiments indeed, infact this cross could throw a decent versatile dog in the right hands, the poodle is a very intelligent breed of dog , in France and in other European countries they are still worked, a dog of this breed i should think would have a excellent coat, decent feet, plenty of brains, it woul suit somebody who likes rough shooting/ wildfowling, mooching, ferreting, and it would certainly have enough pace for lamping, the trouble is nowadays alot of lads prefer point and aim dogs, and they can,t be bothered to train dogs up to a decent standard, and they prefer a dog with what
  20. Nice one mate..... Look's very much like the little bitch that I have here ....

    HARE NET.

I'm the same has Mistnet + Leeview, in that I also set the pin's in at an angle (rightly or wrongly) I've alway's thought that it would be better like this so the rabbit's are walking on the the net in the same way as when setting a pursenet
  22. Some pic's from the David James line / family/ type call it whatever you will Just Border Collie X Greyhound in these dog's for several generation's now. I reckon the 3 1/2 yr old bitch that I've got at the minute is about 9th Generation...... Not everyone's cup of tea, and definately NO worldbeater's ..... But they have served me alright over the past few year's Old bitch that I lost last xmas in her younger day's My current bitch .... Some more in the line ..... Excuse the quality, pic's of pic's
