  6. I was fortunate today to be able to take up an offer for a spot of Hunting up / Ferreting from Fert . . . He's a member from this site amongst other's that 1 or 2 might know or have even met. I met at his place just before 8 and we talked dog's for a while (as you do) over a cuppa. A short drive saw us arrive on the land that we were to walk. A good bit of ground with mainly Bracken and the odd few clump's of Gorse, we wasn't out to break no record's and so no pursenet's today just let the dog's do there thing and when needed a couple of jill's to ferret the odd warren here and there.   15. Was out again this morning with Lamp's doing the few roadside warren's that border the Winter Wheat field's that we have recently picked up. You can see that the little Buggar's have had there fair share off here now . . . So the farmer wanted a few thinning out. Also out with us today was a local lad Brett who like's his Ferreting and so he brought his 3 Jill's with him to give them a run out. He also brought with him his self knitted brightly coloured net's that we thought would come in Handy, as altho the Farmer had been up to sythe the cover down with his tractor there was still a fair

  17. Because it was our last day of freedom today (back to work tomorrow) me and Lamp's had a day out with the dog's and Fert's. It was pissing down when I came down stair's this morning but luckily by the time we had reached the patch that we had in mind today the rain cloud's had cleared and it was lovely clear morning We was to do a couple of warren's bordering some Wheat field's, then onto a small hedge that run's alongside a couple of horse paddock's, then finally a mooch around a rough / setaside field that now had 1/2 dozen small black Dexter cattle in.
