    He’s saluki bull grey x Wheaton bull grey mate. Hel be 12 months old in just over a weeks time. 25tts. Pretty keen, has been since quite young really. I have a saluki bull grey aswel who’s 4 coming on 5 who’s been a good teacher for him showing him the ropes. Pup surprised me at 9 months to be honest and hasn’t really looked back. Have to hold him back at times as I don’t want to spoil him but he’s ticking all the boxes for me so far so only time will tell. Think a lot of it’s just down to getting them out as much as you can wheather it be watching my older dog and learning or doing it himsel

    Went out for a few hours with the pup on his own tonight. Nice and dark but not much wind so most stuff was moving off quickly but we managed four and was really close on a couple of others. Only smallish fields where they hit the hedges fast. He’s starting to run the beam well now and trusting me even if he can’t see anything. Starting to become a nice shape but still piling the food in him as he’s not quite 1 yet and already proved to me he’s fully committed to whatever it is he does. Let’s hope it doesn’t change

    Fair play mate at least your out. I’ve just got in after a five hour stint and only 1 bunnie each for my two. Went to a few hotspots aswel as the wind and rain was in our favour but there was feckall about and there was me thinking I was in for a decent night. Atlest the dogs got a few runs and learning for the pup. Took it out it’s seat. Hope the young dog heels quick. Atb Igz

    Cheers mate. As an all rounder from what I’ve seen myself and of a few other dogs I’ve seen not that it’s a lot if you get them from the right breeding you should end up with a half decent dog that will put its hand to most. Hope you have a good season. Igz

    Here’s my two, the big dogs saluki bull grey and the young one saluki bull grey x Wheaton bull grey. Pup will be 12 months next month and showing good signs. Have to hold the little fecker back as he’s very confident so I just give him a little at a time but what he has done he’s shown good signs. Got himself in a few situations And worked them out well for a youngun. Big dogs always a pleasure to take out to be honest, yes he has faults but nothing major and he’s a 100 percent tryer who loves the graft. Loves a challenge

    This place like that Bill, think it’s not far from you to be honest. Lost the pup up there for about 40 mins few weeks ago. Was thinking of having an early one in the morning up there again to be honest

    September was slow as ground was hard and warm weather so been doing a bit more the last couple of weeks now we’ve had plenty of rain. Started to get a few runs and get into a few bits but it’s still been a bit slow compared to this time last year but had to put some time into the pup also, but going to concentrate on this one a bit more over the next month or so

    You’ll get spoilt, you can have a look through my 38 if you want while having a mooch at the 50 with BB. My guess is you will want the xp 50 after looking through them both but then you will go for the 38 as I looked and it’s still morealess half the price so it would be a no brainier for me as the 38 is still quality although mine has seen some graft over the last few years so it has been dropped a few times and stuff. In fact me and BB was out this week and I ended up to my neck in water in a dyke either side of a walkway through into a next field ??. Lamp and battery, thermal, I phone and g

    Me and BB go out together maybe once a week together and his 50 is a better image than my xq38 but the 38 more than good enough for what most need if not much price difference between the two id spend that little extra but when I got mine the difference was about half the price or just a little more. Suppose it’s just what you get used to, If you have had good from the start you won’t want anything less but if it’s your first you may be happy with what you get just don’t look through anything better or you’ll be left wanting more ?
