  1. Few last night for me and blacky . Think mine finished on about 8 . Think we lost a few out rucksack when doing a few ninja moves . Good crack though , great laugh seeing him pulled over on his arse landing on top of dogs . Then I got dragged flat on my face at another point . All in a nights lamping !
  2. Cheers mate. He been sat around last 2 weeks with his foot. Couple of little lead walks but his kennels open 24/7 . Just started getting him back out last few days . Just got in from walking some permission I got yesterday . Fair few bunny's over there but they were getting off way before I could get near really so just kept the lamp off, leave them for another night. Glad to see the shooters maybe a lazy one and does it off the road side as still spotted about 5 fox . Got one . Few bigger bits over the fence line but tonight was more just a look about find my way round .
  3. Ground ain't the best but I've been back out in day this last week free running to get a bit back into him after his little lay off . Got myself 500 acres of permission yesterday so I'll be out later to have a look what it has to offer . Farmer said there's a fair few bunny's but we shall see. He does have a shooter on there and spoiled my day when he said he's had 25 foxes in last 6 weeks from that area . Reckons he had a vixen in cub only last week . C###.
  4. The 2 young dogs me and my mate have out of bitch are doing well for young dogs . They more than quick enough and they have a 1/4 as there sire so pups should be just as quick having that extra bit of grey in them . Bitch is fully tested and if I know my mate he'll have her back up and running by December . Black neck be picking his pup the weekend. We'll be taking the 4 hour trip up north , nights lamping then back home early hours .
  5. Few of the pups. They will be 5 weeks Friday . Cracking litter to be fair . My mates done a good job with them. All fat as butter . Lads will be picking there pups this weekend . Maybe a bitch available if anyone interested in a genuine 1/4 x .
  6. Mines been out last ten days, about another 3 or 4 I reckon. Came back from a daytime mooch . Realised he's sliced his foot just above the pads . So morales closed now but don't want to rush it. I went out with my mate and his dogs other night just to get out with wind so good sWaited 6/7 month just get started and alredy had to stop . Atkest it's while the moons up though. Probably start a bit of walking on lead from tomorrow
  7. You can but try mate. Hope it works out for you
  8. My mate who bred the dogs just been down so his red dog can see his dog run them for the first time. 4 hour drive down for him . Just over an hour out , going home happy . Caught 2 missed the 3rd . No rush they only young so called it a night. Save some for tomorrow . Hopefully the new pups be just as promising. Perfect to see a bit next season
  9. Why not what you wanted mate ?
  10. Off the mark . Conditions let us down our first few times out really and it been to light but apart from been a little warm tonight the wind and moons were good . Run 2 missed the first as he hit a dyke as I slipped him no lamp as he knew there was something there . Still got back up and made the ground up though . Missed it on the edge but liked his attitude with his last ditch strike but not to be. Second wasn't so lucky !
  11. Yes , shouldn't really miss once out in the open
  12. Better than that bin basher you got there
  13. Head down, gone. Great daytime sport but can be thick sometimes
  14. I say pup, young dog I should say. They are 22 months now so perfect for this season
  15. No mate not keeping one myself , Blacky, my mate who's bred them and probably penda be having a bitch . Pendas 50/50 but I know his 50/50 it's more like 80/20 . He loves a bull x and knows the pace will suit round by us . 2 bitches and dog pup spare at the minute but sure they will go no problems .
  16. Yes mate it's nice to know alls gone ok. Not a massive litter aswell and a fair few bitches for neck to choose from .
  17. Bitch had 5 bitches and 1 male pup this morning . All chunky pups .
  18. I'd say most that you probably pay 600 plus for will do a job in the Hik and pulsar range. I remember someone on here going for a cheaper version which was about the 400 mark and don't think it was much good if memory serves me right . Someone may come on and tell me otherwise
  19. Mines the LH25 . Think it's the lh19 my mate got . I'd stay with pulsar or Hik though. Pulsar probably a bit better quality but Hik does the job
  20. When we having a night then I've just found out I've a bull x that can flatten roe within 150 yards lol
  21. Hiks are decent enough, I've had the pulsar aswell but for the price difference I'd go Hik . My mates got the Hik down from mine think he paid about 6-800 and it's decent enough
