  1. Who the fck is Carl Williams anyway?, only bloke over here with that name was a fat ass gangster wanna be who couldn't fight for shit and pissed himself when the coppers got him. Ended up with an iron bar in his skull in jail, R.I.P Carl.
  2. I reckon start off with two good unrelated grey bitches and put a top working whippet over both. You can add different greyhound or whippet blood depending what you want down the track when it gets too close.
  3. I agree, a lot of vets don't know much about ferrets. Maybe they picked up something at the vet clinic, two dying is too much of a coincidence.Sorry about your animals. I had a jill die a couple of days after giving birth, we took the litter into the vets and he said to pts the litter as they couldn't survive. My mrs said fck off, just give us some formula and the smallest feeding bottles. She raised the whole litter and we had them for 8 to 9 years working.
  4. I'm a poor cnt with working dogs and I think my dogs are too good for common, rare, whatever folks you want. It's why I won't breed a litter nowadays. The cream can sink if it's in the hands of a loser.
  5. Over here it's hard to get permission, mainly in sheep country which happens to be the best rabbit spots. The farmers are long generation sheep owners and have a problem with dogs even if stock proofed. Any dog even walking across their place is shot on sight. Maybe just take ferrets at first until they see you are a responsible person.
  6. You should be a decent hunter with that background, even lions don't mess with Zulu I've been told. I'm the type of person that treats people how they treat me whatever their race. My nieces bloke is a black Filipino cage fighter and built like a brick shithouse. He's a top bloke and true gentleman when not fighting.
  7. We are, got our place up for sale. I can imagine if my grandson, 2, picked up the baits. I'd be doing life with no regrets.
  8. Wish it was that easy, can't prove it, but good idea, lol.
  9. I'll just add them to our myriad of dangerous fauna here in this hot ass place, lol.
  10. You might think I'm being a bit hard or redneck but we have them living next door in my new place, 3 days ago they threw baits over the fence. Luckily my dogs were all locked up but my mrs cats took the baits, killing one and costing us hundreds to fix the other, bad when we have a mouse plague here atm. I got nothing against what color people are, these cnts are treacherous, dirty trash but I dislike my ancestors more for not clearing the place better. One good thing is the mrs is on my side about moving back out bush.
  11. I doubt many would want to go back and give up the grog, drugs, houses, cars, pensions for a bit of bark to sleep under and witchety grubs good chap. They need to get over it, who's land wasn't invaded at some stage and still is being.
  12. One thing I do know about proper ACDs is you would be hard pressed to find a better biting guard for your truck anywhere. They also have an inborn hatred for the indigenous people if not raised by them. If you lived over here you could totally understand this behavior.
  13. Could be, I know the old cattle blokes tried straight cross EBT/dingo but they were too full on and would kill calves and god help the sheep. These could have been put in to the line though. Like a lot of breeds, it's a bit of a mystery I think.
  14. You should see some of the lines over here, the pups have the look of a hard eight year old dog. In my experience the red dogs are a lot more savage than the blues, throwing more to the dingo side.
  15. What are they like as a watch/guard dog, it's a cross I'd like when my old pit crosses pass and be a dual purpose dog. i remember the bloke that taught me ferreting having one but can't remember if it guarded.
  16. I reckon that too but whippets seem to be one breed that make good companions for kids, even dogs from long hunting lines. Not as important to get working homes.
  17. Polar opposite here $1000 for a decent cattle pup, 2500 plus for a beagle. Beagles have always fetched top dollar here, cattle dogs usually gifted.
  18. I was thinking India, Africa. With the feral cats here getting bigger all the time and only 200 years to evolve, how long have feral cats been in the UK, thousands of years? Could these big cats be just a huge evolved feral?
  19. I can imagine pumas surviving/ breeding in really cold temps as some do in their native country but what about leopards, (apart from snow leopards) which live in really hot environments?
  20. My mrs used to catch pigs for a living she had three packs of dogs, so they worked every three days. I know with pig dogs they need time to recover and get calories back in.
  21. If there is a breeding population of big cats I think they would breed to the size that suits the environment over there. I've heard off a hunter from US that adult puma can range from 50 to over 300lbs.
