  4. If one team was in yellow and blue and the other in blue and yellow I'd hazard a guess Clare were playing Tipp! Pretty much only two provinces of the four have much hurling, those being Munster and Leinster. Galway is in Connacht and we used to be in a very unfair position of having no competitive games until I think the quarter final stage of the All Ireland so we went out - a lot, first game. But now we've been put in with the Leinster teams and I think that will benefit Galway immensely having proper competitive games. I think Antrim, in Ulster, are also in Leinster now. Very true,
  5. That church is still fuzzy Cheers, D.
  6. Weather conditions weren't very good, (light, still, warm) but I'd arranged to go for a few runs so me and Silvertip off here headed out about 11pm. Quite a few rabs about but in pockets so to run one, you disturbed 3 or 4 others unfortunately. Despite doing quite a bit of fitness training recently, both my dogs ran poorly IMO Overshooting, turning like an oil tanker and hit and miss retrieving. Both dog's strike seemed decent to be fair but they missed far more than I would have liked. Can only hope it's early season rustiness Cheers, D.
  7. We were in Cork in 2001 (I think) and it was the semi or final of the hurling championship. Cork Vs Munster (again, memory ain't too good ) The atmosphere in the city centre was really good but typical Irish, one team played in yellow and blue and the other in blue and yellow Cheers, D.
