    Thing is, when buying a bike, you can't really take a load of them for a test ride like you can a car. Whenever I buy a big purchase, telly, camera etc I'm all over the net reading reviews/ratings etc. Bought my Marin for a grand 20 years back when I was bang into it, spent another grand on upgrades over the years and I still love it, sure there are better bikes out there now but I shouldn't ever need another. (Got a hack bike as well for quick blasts mind) If you get the right one first time you'll never need to swap it. Cheers, D.

    Bit like that for us atm, Mrs dad in a care home, now in hospital with pneumonia, 85 and started with dementia also incontinent. This is a fella who boxed and played rugby and water polo for the Navy and was in the Field Gun Crew, proper hard old boy, now a shadow of what he was. Sad as fcuk to see.     Yeah mate it is, got to visit a site near there early hours tomoz. Used to go out there Sunday afternoons mid nineties cos one of the lads was shagging the then landlady. Coincidentally She bought the big house just down from where I now live back along but sold up a couple of years back.
