    Had the "pleasure "of handling 1 at 1 of the show,s and the finish was as good as a Baikal .Industrial would cover it ,rough n ready at a pinch . Still it's made for a price and if you're not a tackle tart is a functional tool.

    Thats a challenge for Jimmy ,needs a touch of gorilla glue as it looks like the gorilla,s already jumped up and down on it a few times.I reckon glue the bits ,then rebuild using epoxy filler . Let it cure 24 hours and shape ,new seals ,polish inside and a new spring ,top hat and guide in delrin she,l live again .Like a bearded pantomine dame gruff ,ruff but packs a little punch

    Sounds limit switch to me ,our cranes n hoists are a tad bigger but the result is the same .only works 1 way and wont go up limit switch tripped . If overload limit trips it would,nt lower to floor but just stay in place . Its 240v single phase ,power craft is aldis own brand.im guessing fuse hasn't gone as you can lower so power is there unless it's just free running down. Do you have an electrician at the farm Ben?may be a relay has gone inside. It is just a motor with a relay braking system over to you atb

    Alaways up for a bit of "stripping and lubing " seriously though a nice project in these lockdowned times and when done probably as good as you can get sub 12 .New seals ,polish ,Delrin guide and hat job sorted .Look forward to the write up and pictures

    Well I got 2 unused table clamps and a need for stability. Cant afford the new style tripods <on furlough pay>,so I thought make your own. So drill n tap m10x1.5 in the base of said bracket . Cut 2 pieces 7.5x3.5cm steel plate and fix to clamp .Drill hole and fit split pin to stop wind out in turnscrew. Then cut leather patches to fit and bond with contact adhesive, allowing 24 hours to cure and Bob's your job. Stable, free and hands free atb

    I'm dreading my return to the farm ,il spend the first 3 or 4 visits cleaning dog muck off my boots. Lazy,dirty ignorant swines who don't care will also fill the trees with little parcels Great write up as per SD and a fabulous view good for the soul and sanity

    The room "on display" only has space for a few but through the fac room is a mahoosive area probably in there hiding from you and me ,good job really cant afford 1 and drool is not a good look at my age

    If you want to add confusion Livens in Burton sell FX airgun 16g pellets that weigh the same as JSB,s are shaped the same color the same oh hang on they are the same. And 3 quid cheaper atb

    Learned to shoot C,F in the cadets on s.m.l.e .303 aged 13 ahem a "couple "of years ago .Awesome shooting and as the Afghan and Iraqi militias proved long range no issues. Still see them coming up between 300 to 800 pounds depending on condition. And ammunition available locally, happy memories
