  1. Double like. Bin listening to this album a lot recently (and also ' yeah, but is he an "Evil-oss Man"?' is a family thing here).
  2. Where is 'three takes on a poppy field 3'?? Love them all. Especially 2 and 8. Thanks
  3. Lol. She's a bit cool isn't she. Playing cajon, in a flamenco skirt?? And with that voice?! (I may be developing a girl crush!...)
  4. If you go right down the end, get an ice cream from Jelberts in newlyn. M3 A303 has always worked best for us.
  5. Seriously? Already bubbling? I'm going to have to have another go.
  6. Totes off the lee scratch topic (genius though he is) but my bro sent me this the other day and I thought it was rather lovely...
  7. I don't know anything about concrete, but I do know a man that does. Look up 'explosive spalling' if you're interested. Fire brick base / lining should be fine. PS Air gun Ant, that looks ace. I want one. Lookin forward to seeing the process / progress..
  8. You doin champagne, Nik? (Flowers pretty much over here so watching you to see if it's worth gathering the last 8 heads I can find.....)
  9. I figured you might, but I don't think the thread regulars would appreciate all of us on a Tom Waits binge! Nice. Just tryin out my replacement Bluetooth speaker, and this was one I'd skimmed over. Thanks. (And not tom waits...huge bonus!!)
  10. I truly know nothing about anything dog-wise but maybe look at turmeric as a general anti-inflammatory, when not taken with food. Basic advice for humans is take with food as gut tonic; take apart fro food as anti inflam enhancer, or other possible medical benefits.
  11. It's all very well saying 'it's basic training' but it's not basic or easy for lots of people (not just me, I'm sure) so Please explain how you achieve that. (I met a chap up the lane few years ago with 2 working lurchers, no leads, in close, calm..... i thought 'That's what I want with my next dog... )
  12. Perfect fishy delishy. (Specially as there's no samphire). Looks amazing, as always.
  13. @ jimmy8 How you want your dog to behave on lead will perhaps depend a bit on what the dog is and what you want from it? My dog is just a pet, so I only really need him to be well-mannered and trustworthy. No great consolation for you, but this thread reminded me that I have a long line, so last coupla days we've been doing getting into the car and then going round pets at home and wickes without using his normal lead. Not too bad, for first attempts. (This dog is 18 months and I am bumbling novice trainer, who can't even touch a dead mouse). But what I've done is get him to follow
  14. Mister Gain, I think I love you. Great comprehensive instructions and illustrations. Thanks. Why should it be in a non-metallic tray? Does it have to be kept refrigerated once it's dried out? Could it just be wrapped in greaseproof once it's dry?
