  1. has the collar stood up to abuse and water etc, what do you think of it?
  2. salukis and x's can be very different to your gundogs, you'd be better off spending time with them first, because you'll either get on with each other or you WON'T. Plenty of topics on here to read. Plenty salukis in the states
  3. a thread with no ard men or arguments ?
  4. the ones in the mud still just look like a brute of a dog. Did you trail cam the area?
  5. no ta, not in a rush to get either. Will be getting some sort of cur lurcher in the future, maybe even some sort of purebred. Wasn't asking about yours or shepherds in general, just told you about the pic I'd seen whilst looking and asked about the owner..
  6. I'll be driving home shortly? Don't have a passport! I'm interested in all working dogs, wouldn't be reading this or recognizing pics other wise ?
  7. not really no, you might of got more interest in the wild camping though. The place it came from homes dogs in the san Francisco Bay area and northern California
  8. that's probably why the dog stands out, the collie grey sire did as well. i meant is the red dog pup local to you?
  9. obvious why their not popular. Someone on here has a cracking black collie/grey x mal/grey. is the chap with the pup local to you ?
  10. canny pup, its a 5 month old dog pup off the web though, be around 1 1/2 now..... Saw it recently (and just now), looking to see if they all throw sherperdy
  11. just said I don't know his family lol, piss or get off the pot ffs
  12. we don't know your family so he could put any name up lol, you'd say he's lying and he'd say straight up
  13. there's a good few well bred collie pups come up for sale for not being interested in sheep. A home with a bit of sport will be better than plodding around town
  14. I thought he meant longnets etc
  15. same as above never heard of anyone using a Australian. Have mooched about with a border bitch at work on and off for years, she's never seen a ferret or nets but I'm sure she would pick it up no prob. She marks and hunts up. I often look at the failed sheepdogs for sale but that's as far as I've got..
  16. it probably is knuckling, never seen it with own eyes so wouldn't know. the pup I saw with bowed legs was caused by some sort of trauma early on, it took a lot more than food to sort him
  17. we all instantly think food, but it might not be food causing it
  18. just being nosey, was that one sired by F ? seen a few with slightly turned out front feet, from different lines
  19. take it to a good vet. There's leg problems in some inbred pure salukis, not saying its that mind, just worth mentioning
