Definitely is mate get the diesel heaters on the boats first thing I do when they star playing up is disconnect the diesel feed and run a gallon of kerosene through them to clean them out and bring them back to life

If it’s one of those cheap Chinese heaters they will run on veg oil, dirty engine oil diesel or kerosene kerosene runs hotter and cleaner and will keep your unit running much longer without shooting up and as it’s the same price or cheaper than diesel I’d stick with kero all day long mate

A lot of camping gas is a mixture of butane and propane so can’t see it being a problem general rule of thumb is give it a go and if you have a nice blue flame all is good if it’ burns orange it’s not right

This could all be just the dream of the rewilding lobby but I have read that pine martinis will happily cohabit with red squirrels but kill greys it’s the reason for the releases grey squirrels are at epidemic proportions and rather than have kids with air guns keep them in check they would rather another little furry creature does the dirty work, similar to the mink otter water vole triangle, water voles are thriving alongside otters as otters don’t seem to tolerate mink and the mink can fit in the voles burrows but otters can’t it’s just restoring the balance in theory but it often goes wron

They will be popping up everywhere same as happened with otters and polecats nobody admits to it but captive bred and released in vast numbers until a few learn to stay off the road and a small population will survive and thrive in suitable habitats
