if you take the photo that started all this as a report IE the woman never went to the paper but contacted a group, they would enhance the photos as best as possible and take measurements between the ears ,along the back ,floor to shoulder etc then they would accertane were the photo was taken from and stick a cardboard cut out in its place and take more photo,s which will be overlaid on the original but then all you can do is give it a percentage of probability as there are no hard and fast rules, I usually try and put my cameras near a fence line or some other solid object for size compariso

wow I,ve done a load to the scrap yard and a rubbish clearance this morning and it's still going, most of the black cats are melonistic leopards and yes a few deer up in the fork of a tree are found each year as are some killed and then buried which seems more of a puma trate, one of the best reports was from exmoor of a half eaten red deer up a tree, now that takes some shifting, wildlife parks often seem to get targeted as well have had a few reports of animals being killed and eaten inside there enclosure including a fully grown ostrich and a few have reported finding pug marks in the plant

the footage I have at present would be torn apart much like the photo that started all of this mate, but as I have spent several years in this woodland after a few sightings were reported following animal trails and getting reports from locals I have over three years narrowed down my search to a small gulley I thought they had been using to get from one side of the forest to the other and in early March I believe I got what I came for plus a little bit more, as the pictures were taken at night they are in black and white, I have sent them off to some local researchers that then enlarge the pic

alright Albie I have just got this little hazel fork for you its banded with little 15mm bands and a small pouch for your 6mm ammo it's rigged up ttf, but if you find you like ott better there is a spare band set some tying strips and a little bit of string to pull it through, I have put a small groove round the fork tips to whip to, just look on you tube if your unsure it's called tuck and wrap method, or get dad to help, hope it fits your hand alright, I,ll stick them in the post in the morning for you

For the same reason you have written literally thousands of words on this topic about it......passion for the subject !.......its human nature to want to be right about something your passionate about but unfortunately that desire to be right creates bias........don't get me wrong i admire folk who pursue the truth and you seem to be doing a great job but the whole " im not telling " thing is where it all falls down i mean what is there a prize at the end or something and that's why you wont tell/show ..... its a smashing little hobby to have but i think thats all it really seems to be........

everyone that has seen it is of the same opinion as me and these are people from all walks of life, people who have more interest in the colour of there nail varnish than big cats, and people that have hunted all there life, I don't tell them what it is or were its from, I just ask people what they think is in the picture and of around twenty or so people they all said the same thing so I,m happy, I won't show it online as once it's out there I have know control of were it goes or who does what with it so for the time being it stays that way sorry

yes mate, the carcases were dna tested and came back as fox dna on them both.......no catthis was another cover up, any one that knows anything about wildlife knows a fox won't take down a deer, I have also met a few of the people that were involved in that case one of who worked in the lab the carcass was taken to he would not speak out but off record confirmed leopard DNA was on the woodchester carcass,he felt shit that he had been made to hide the truth it's one of the hottest area,s around and during the same time the deer carcass was taken for DNA, something in the same area jumped over a

I would for the simple reason they will be radio tracked and I think they would pair up quite quickly with ones that are already here,making it even harder to deny the truth, other than that I,m a great believer in leaving nature to its own devices as man just seems to f**k things up whenever we try and get involved, look at mink,otters, barn owls and water voles as a small amount of animals we have f****d over trying to help them

Its been an interesting topic ive enjoyed reading some folks passion for this type of thing......but that type of passion is why a statement like the above is for me what raises the most doubt as i dont think they would be able to keep real solid evidence to themselves it would be human nature to shout " look at this " from the rooftops.....i believe in God but that's all it is " belief " if i had some solid evidence in the existence of God you bet your life i,d be showing anyone willing to listen thats just how we are ......it all seems a bit feeble and pathetic to say " i have evidence......

Can't argue with needing the evidence, it's a prerequisite, but it wouldn't necessarily be a massive issue to livestock. Cats here follow the deer herds and livestock damage is very low. I'm not say they don't take livestock but they wouldn't need to hunt deer at all in these parts if that was the case. My son's seen one while out with the dog, but all I've ever seen is tracks. Nothing on camera and a couple of the rangers, I know, have never seen a live one. This is in a part of the world where they probably outnumber the people.
