  6. that's why people are selling bundles of seasoned hazel sticks on eBay mate, people just buy them and start making from the off, if you cut half a dozen every January after two or three years you will have sticks ready every year, but if you want to start straight away you might have to buy your first bundle then cut some in January as well to get you started for next year, I think that while you are seasoning them you also straighten out any unwanted curves or bends good luck

  8. theres something in the back of my mind telling me ive got the paperwork for the fence here somwhere. i wrote both myself and the neighbour a copy of a brocken down bill and payment plan. ive just got to find it mate in three years of house ownership you have probably earned at least ten grand in equity alone is it worth all the hassle over a few hundred quids worth of fence, secondly if your neighbour owns the boundary it's more shit and if you own the boundary and sell the house with the fence it belongs to the new owners, ask yourself do you need extra shit at a stressful time (selling hous
  9. the two that Dave mentions are two of the best for a beginner though the new wasp catty,s are rapidly moving the goal posts, sadly finger and knuckle hits are a forgone conclusion if you have never fired one before, you can either wear a glove until your confident or get a starship/ forward fork style catty so your hand is well back out the way

  11. If someone set it up I would have a go,but my gonads are only the size of dried peas they will still hurt the same when your wearing them on your chin mate big or small,
  12. one of my first thoughts as well mate, I think it's the pack mentality of wolves that's more likely to keep them pure bred than anything else as anything outside of the pack is food, interesting subject
  13. hound-killed-by-wolves.jpg i bet that the one that did this was'ntThat looks like a hybrid to me. It's tan and black suggesting GSD blood? its a hound dog mate a very cheap to feed hound dog
  14. Been reading up on this a little and I,m more confused than when I started, apparently certain wolves gray wolve for example are identical in there DNA make up with domestic dogs, and have cross bred since man first domesticated dogs, so the two main questions that spring to mind are how can you tell if they are pure or not if they carry the same DNA and what damage is it doing if they are genetically identical and have been doing it since the year dot, I know it's never a good idea to put human feelings on animals and I,m sure many would love the ideal of doing this but it is the equivalent o
  15. I bet them poodle owners are rubbing there hands with glee now they have another animal they can stick doodle or woodle in the title and charge a small fortune for, but on a more serious note if it's genetically possible for dogs to breed with Wolves why are,nt there hundreds of hybrids around, like the Scottish wild cat that is on the verge of being swollowed up by hybridisation so there would be a percentage of dog DNA in a lot of wolves as they have both been about for hundreds of years, wolves vary in colour from white to black so the picture shows very little to prove cross breeding, a li

well I think if you want to go and live in another country you should try to join in with as much local activity as possible,

  18. And I get stick over my pictures, they can't really have identified them from that picture surely
  19. First clue shark bay? Enough said
  20. if you wrap a ball of small shot in toilet paper it holds together long enough to clear the forks that was our childhood method of dropping starlings on the wing I think you can get pouches with a small bucket shape in the middle now for firing multiple shots
