  1. In all honesty I don't think anyone deserves to die over fly tipping ?
  2. I,ve had guns shoved in my face and been shot at over here without having to go halfway around the world, though that was many moons ago when it was a normal response to poachers, now I,m older and wiser and much more adapt at evading capture it's a thing of the past and people invite me onto land with the cameras , I think like Albert you will have to give the tv licensing guy fair warning on live tv that if he comes back you will shoot him then you will have the nation behind you but on the last point saying that Albert was worse than the hillbilly,s I,ll have to disagree with you I,m afraid
  3. And that's why there will always be conflict because the law only deals in black and white but real life has a few grey areas, I,m not saying Albert was right in what he did just that it's easy to see why people sympathise with him and not the other two prince charming, s
  4. One was an old man that simply wanted to be left in piece on his own piece of land and was pushed and pushed by the authority,s until he was pushed to far, the others were inbred wankers that were looking for a row and got what they wanted and I think that's why people sympathise with one and condemn the other, they may have both shot someone but there motives were worlds apart ?
  5. Yes but why go home with a scantily clad 20 something bird dressed in a bit of dental floss and game for anything when you can creep around in people's gardens after 4-5hrs of dealing with drunken idiots and beat a cat to death with a blunt instrument before cutting it up with scissors, the only pattern I can see emerging so far is the liberal lefts hatred of the common working man the last group I saw blamed were builders, reasons given they work at elevation so can see in your garden and own a hammer ff.s ?
  6. Those that pay for survey,s, enquiry,s and inquests etc usually get the answer they want it's a tactic used by government for years to validate there shit decisions
  7. Check out some of there air guns there knocking over buffalo, deer and hogs with them, think they argue over .38 and .50 not 177 v 22 ?
  8. Apparently if you can escape civilisation and survive in the wild for just over a fortnight it is reckoned that most town and city folk would have turned on each other and almost wiped themselves out in the case of total social meltdown, can't remember were I read it but I could imaging it being pretty accurate, there would be rows of dead fatty,s at the doors of every burger and chicken shack ??
  9. Reach out and help them out of there cloth,s ??
  10. And look how much the tree has drooped during those few months, you can see the water source in the early shots but by the last ones it's out of shot, it's why I love camera trapping you learn so much about your enviroment, What part of America is he if you don't mind me asking,
  11. I doubt nuclear war would be our downfall but even in the event of social meltdown the amount of nuclear power stations would cause massive problems as they break down, but on a brighter note at least you would,nt need a lamp as all the animals will glow in the dark, ?
  12. Just goes to show that a good run is a good run for everything does,nt it I only put my cameras up if I,m getting all the main species, I learnt this from the Americans that track the mountain lions thanks for sharing them mate some cracking pictures
  13. 16 subspecies of the same cat quite an amazing creature that's adapted to different environments, my old mate the guy that's canoeing in Canada has a wicked close up photo of a black jaguar which he took when he travelled the Amazon many moons before ed Stafford was even heard of, it's on the wall over the toilet in his house, all he had was an old shotgun a machete and a folding canoe with no way of contacting the outside world, his name is John Harrison and he wrote a book called off the map about his trip have a look think you,d like it he,s a pretty amazing guy, thanks for the link I,ll h
  14. Get a load of empty plastic milk cartons and fill them with water then cable tie them to the eyelets on your tarps along the bottom edge, it will stop them flapping or blowing off in the wind sorry i,m a bit flat out busy myself for the next week or so or I,d come over, keep your chin up and let me no if I can do anything to help mate ?
  15. I,m not a prepper but I am prepared, just because I,m a bit old and crusty and occasionally I can't make it back home, I have enough gear to keep me alive over night in a small rucksack I take everywhere and I have enough stuff in my van to survive a good week if I had to, the funniest thing with them Preppers is the amount of battery,s they stockpile, make a bowdrill and learn to use it because making fire is more important than having a torch, they also stock pile tins instead of learning to kill clean and cook wild animals, being a prepper to most is just a fashion thing like being a vegan
  16. Trouble is mate roofers are going to be at a premium with all this weather both price and time wise, do you no any scaffolders that could get you a couple of lifts up ? at least if you can get up there you could get a few tarps over the roof to prevent further damage,
  17. Think it may have used up a few of its nine lives at the least, but when you see that thing move across the ground it does make me chuckle when people suggest hound packs would have put them up if they were here, even the first one if the camera was,nt there not a single person would be aware of what happened to the dog in a busy street in broad daylight, they are such incredible things absolute masters of there enviroment, ?
  18. Another clue, I,m looking for an oap with a bus pass and a insatiable hatred of cats, the net tightens ?
  19. Will do mate, I,m not saying a big cat is responsible but things like this need to be looked at with openness, when the people involved start popping up saying the authority,s have asked them not to talk to the media it just gets the rumour mill going into overdrive,
  20. there is an increasing number of cat owners coming forward that have been asked not to talk with the media by the police over this matter or share specific details about how the cats died, I,m going to fire off some emails over the weekend to see if I can get some photo,s of the carnage, I think the main issue is the people involved have already solved the case in there minds so are not looking for anything else, were as the 400 cats may have met there end through more than one means, one case I,m quite interested in is a Bengal cat that was torn to bits in its garden as these things are big
  21. Think he,s cracking a joke mate ??
  22. I think it's because they don't actively hunt anymore so don't need to overpower or chase anything, fitting in a bin is more important plus a smaller body requires less fuel, and looking at some of the beasts coming out of Maccy D,s and kfc I,d think if it was diet related they,d be more like hippo,s than fox,s ?
  23. I,m in Bristol right next to the docks and I no of 8 peregrine nesting sites within less than 10 miles of my house and I don't really look for them, mind you I love watching them circling miles above my house much more than all the ferals we have shitting everywhere that are all rung or descended from lofts even though they offer a good bit of urban hunting, used to shoot sack loads as a kid and get a few quid back for the rings from the pigeon club, can you still do that?
  24. If your car has a sunroof there are normally two drain holes in the runners, they run down the window pillars and out through the bottom, these often block and water finds its way into the car, wind the sunroof back and poke a length of stiff wire dawn the holes, this is the reason you see older motors with tape round the sun roof, easy fix if it is mate ?
