Surprising how many squirrels go into suicide mode when you put a bit of pressure on them, but don’t feel sorry for them they are absolutely everywhere around me and are really just a cute looking tree rat that does a lot of damage to the environment by stripping bark and robbing bird nests regarding the dog I,d say he has a lot of collie in him just because of his markings and his behaviour, but I don’t really know as I rescued him from a bit of a shite life so he came with very little background information, he spent the first 18 months of life locked on a small balcony in a tower block on

Looking at the vid possibly was a racoon then mate, as a scavenger I’d imaging a cage trap with a dead fish or similar in would catch it pretty quick, if you look like davie crocket when I next see you I,ll no were you got the hat??just got me one of these should have a bit more time to get over after them barbel soon ??

Sorry to say but Carrera push bikes were a very good well made bike I think from Italy, the ones sold by Halfords are just cheap Thai copy there have been several court cases over it apparently but it’s no better than a Raleigh, be better off spending 300 notes on a second hand kona, orange or simular

Just having a sort and tidy, Anyone need or want a couple of looped band sets, these came with a Chinese catty I bought a while back but I won’t use them so if anyone wants them let me no and I’ll stick them in the post, I’m more of a butterfly draw and like my bands around 8/12” in length were as these are 6” a side and would suit someone that draws to there face, it’s the two black loops nearest the camera

Don’t think so, this is only my observation but sea otters seem quite a bit bigger than the ones I,ve seen in freshwater, there is also quite a size difference between male and females, a good size male river otter can do 40lb plus and make a formidable foe for anything, they are pretty well spread about now, I’ve seen them on the river Severn were the m50 goes over it the Kenneth and Avon canal around bath the Somerset levels and even a small dyke near me that empty’s empty’s a small moor into the Severn, early mornings seems the best time to see them unless you go out with a lamp

I had a small fisherie in Somerset back in the late 90s when they started reappearing, all the story’s of they only eat eels etc were a load of bollacks and every time the river parrot was in flood they would turn up ,funnily the first thing that went was my geese adults and young then I started to find remains of fish before I twigged what was happening, worse thing was like you say the waste they leave seeing fish you had bought and stocked left on the bank for the Fox’s and badgers after just a few mouthfuls of the fillet were eaten only for them to turn up again next night for another one

I have a black widow with blue dub dub bands on and it fires 12 mm leads no problem, think the standard bands and pouch’s like the bigger ammo ?

I get that mate much like badgers but the foot does not even look like there’s room for another toe, look at Eddie b,s example much different planter pad and 5 toes, I,m still learning hence my query not attempting to call anyone a liar, was wondering if there’s a big difference between front and back feet, something else to google ??

Totally off subject on my rucksack but for anyone after a bit of squirrel hunting take a note of the size of the trees, this is a newly planted area of woodland so the trees are not that big, in woods with big trees the squirrels will run a lot more readily but in the smaller young trees they lay flat against the tree and hope you don’t see them giving you much more chance of a shot ??this wood has both old and new trees and it’s always in the newly planted areas I get them, having dogs that will just sit there and stare at them helps though they will sit so tight even the dogs miss a few

Not attempting to be funny but what are they mate ?? An otter should have 5 toes and even after enlarging them only getting 4, and a bit of pooh that looks more rodent than mustilid

That’s my life support bag mate, I’m a bit old and decrepit and like spending time in out of the way places on my own so I have to carry enough gear for a night out if something happens, have a light gortex jacket some knives, fire lighters, foil blanket couple of packs of army rations and some torch,s amongst any other little bits and bobs, very rarely leave home without it

By no means an expert and hopefully someone else will be along with a better answer but personally I would assume you would just turn on whatever it is connected to until it’s completely flat ?

Because under eu law all the waste that we used to pile up along the dykes as we clean them was classed as toxic waste and had to be removed and disposed of as such at a cost of £140 a ton same as the leaves they sweep up from the roads so the farmers and water authority’s etc just stopped cleaning out the dykes which led to a lot of our floods ??even the cats seem to be changing there movements because of the extra water on the ground been a bit slow in a lot of my normal areas were I would expect to be finding a few kills now, have a good new year yourself mate ?

Your looking at it in a very small way it’s not like they lent out a tenner and are taking back £8 a week in interest, hitler was the last man to man the f**k up and the world turned on him there is no way of stopping them because they already own everything so every which way you try to change the status quo they have it covered your entire life is owned and controlled by the Jews so unless you are ready to start ww3 they won’t be stopped anytime soon?

Not rained now for four days and my little wood is once again back to normal, not knee deep in water so I thought I’d have a little look round for a few squirrels this morning, only saw two but managed to nail one of them ??
