I,m a few miles along the canal from slimbridge and summer before last the canal was full of dead swans numbers are well down but I haven’t found any dead ones this year, last year I was going up the Severn in a boat and there was a shoot going on along the bank it was raining ducks for about a mile and not one was retrieved so not all corpses are from the flu I guess
