Amazon mate I bought one last year or the year before absolutely love it and can’t wait to get some bush meat going on the tow path this year, takes longer than you think and needs more heat than you expect so don’t be frightened to get a good fire going under it

When I used to sell fur, never removed a bone from a tail even squirrels 50p a tail just lobbed off, ? have watched a few native types curing pelts and they boil the pelt with the animals brain apparently has all you need in it to cure its self ??

I had a fuel cell from a nail gun in a bag of wood back when I still had an open fires sat there on Valentine’s Day evening when bang there are lumps of burning 2x2 flying across the front room and the misses who was luckily by the side of the fire was deaf for days, and no I never ???

I,ve put a fair few out over the years never had a problem, came home from a short dog walk last year and my cat had managed to turn on the cooker and start a fire couldn’t see my hand in front my face but still never thought about phoning the fire brigade, I,m a little bit to pro active for my good maybe but I couldn’t sit waiting for 21/2 hrs while my house was on fire, I even rescued an old couple from a burning house a few years back, got a £50 from the family and a bollacking for going into a burning house, got the mug to prove it ???

I would of done both when I was your age, but now I have daughters of a simular age it’s off limits ?? I have a couple of trees lined up myself for this spring hopefully ?

If you drill one inch holes all over them,I’m sure you will get the weight down a bit ? if your old man is doing a 10 mile dog walk in wellies I,m sure an extra ounce per foot won’t hold him back, my old man moved to a bungalow so he don’t have to walk up stairs ffs ????

Just to show it’s not all doom and gloom my daughter has been nominated and won a local hero award for her work through the pandemic, we may not believe all the shit being pumped at us on the news but are willing to help others, and she has worked right through all of it looking after key workers kids and she has raised £1000s of pounds to provide Christmas food hampers for the less fortunate on the estate, which she is out delivering as we speak so the fact we don’t go along with all this pandemic and vaccine bollox actually means we can help others out who are suffering, if she was scared an

A friend of mine that cleans in the university has just came in for a cuppa and is fuming, part of the uni is being turned into a testing facility for antibody testing no body has been told about it all being done in secret and she has been told she could be forced to participate if she wants to keep her job, to her credit she said I will speak with my union rep as I never agreed to give blood as part of my contract and if forced stick your job up your arse, ??

Silver birch is a great wood, bark will ignite even in wet conditions and makes a great fire lighter and the water that rises in the spring is full of health property’s, if you have enough it’s worth tapping a few trees as they recon birch water is going to be one of the next big health things, dead easy to do and they can produce an incredible amount in short time ??

There are bound to be some really lovely ones but they just don’t stick in the mind like the old trouts, have only had one bad experience in a lifetime so must have had many good ones??

Just found this freedom of information request so yes I recon there are mate, badgers seem to be on the menu a bit more in recent years ?anyways back to your lovely woodland, that should be all any man needs in life fair play to you, my next plan is to look out for some land alongside a river or canal so I can moor my boat up, never happier than sitting round a fire chatting with family and friends ?

I have a mother in a home an 8o year old dad and two sisters they are all gagging to take it and I am not, so I,ll just stay quiet and let them do what they think is right, your family dynamics may be totally different to mine but if you talk them out of it and something happens you will be blamed same as if you push them to have it and they take a bad turn, if they are of sound mind and want to go ahead then that’s there choice but if they have doubts don’t let them be bullied ??

All joking aside and without wishing to hi jack your thread but if you happen across any of these mystery carcasses would you be so kind to have a little look especially on the pelvic girdle for a triangle of small holes or dents about 4 to 7 mm apart from each other and if you are fortunate enough to find any, would you keep them for me please, happy to pay for postage ?

FairPlay for walking 10 miles in wellies maybe it’s time to introduce him to Gortex mate, you could get him a nice pair of berg house, skarpa or north face in that price range, I wear gortex boots and gaiters keeps me warm and dry upto my knees ??
