Here’s a laugh, don’t know if things are the same over there as here but when my kids bought me an iPad, the first thing I typed in was how to use an iPad and an ad came up asking,, are you over 55, TICK, are you sick of being left behind by the modern world, TICK,,, etc etc end result I got a free 6 week iPad course with age concern,, youngest in the class tea and biscuits on tap, don’t get no better than that, they do all sorts of shit for us old fecks have a look if you have them near you ????

My first house had a worse kitchen than that, just after I moved in a neighbour had a new kitchen fitted, as it was the same shape design of house I took the old kitchen out the skip and it fitted perfectly in my empty room were it stayed for almost 30 years before I bought a new one just before moving out ??

Same as that mate my mum has been in a home for the last 2 years, I wouldn’t let my dog live like it would have been pts at the point she went into the home ??

Looking forward to the leaves falling I must admit ?? squirrels have been the main target for me and the dogs last few years but recon this winter could be memorable

I used to have an enamel tea pot was massive about a gallon if memory serves, great for big groups just sit it in a fire and drink tea all day ??

Wife is getting wet feet now when she walks the dogs and I,m at work so was looking to get her a pair of wellies, saw these neoprene ones at the garden centre and was just wondering are they more comfy to walk in than rubber ones and does the price tag reflect the fact they are far better or is it just empora,s clothes views and opinions please especially from owners of said wellies

When pelts were worth money I used to catch loads in the waterworks in Avonmouth, also used to snare loads on the school fence coming in for the pig bins happy days ??

Think it was the bands that were the problem not the fork, have fitted them with flats and modern tube and they work fine mate, you can still get them cheap without the box and split plugs which you wouldn’t want anyways if your planning on using it rather than collecting it ??

I think in coffe shop speak a normal cup of coffee is known as a flat white,??I don’t use coffee shops or mcD type of take always out of principle but I do get offered the odd one by people I meet and that is what I will ask for ?

They spread like a rash mate, I saw my first one when I was doing some work in an old people’s home on the Cotswolds they were in people’s gardens eating the plants within 3 years they are all around the northern edge of Bristol and only the river seems to be slowing the spread though I have seen roe swim it ??

If your on the m5 mate near Micheal wood services keep your eyes peeled I see them stood on the hard shoulder grazing, both muntis and roe the Cotswolds are alive with them ??

I live down a tiny country lane but still usually see 1 or 2 before getting on the main road mate, just seem to be everywhere this year ??

My dog has ran and caught a few as you say miles from cover, looking forward to the leaves falling should be a bumper year with the catty

Any one else noticing that squirrels suddenly seem to be the number one corpse, I see 3/4 every morning on the roads travelling to work, not sad but I often look at roadkill as a gauge to population numbers and by that reckoning the squirrels must be near plague proportions, anyone else getting this in there areas ???

They were in the Norfolk broads many years back, but despite looking like a rat on roids they were not as tough as there little cousins and were quickly wiped out and no match for a half decent dog, just a lot of teeth chattering and not much more ??

Got this fella living on the end of the jetty, he’s flightless for obvious reasons but manages to fish ok, I know they are a pain in the arse, but I,m going to buy some sprats and attempt to get him tame if I can I will make him a little shelter as he sleeps there every night ?

So there is a downside then, now stick those problems in a tiny island that’s overpopulated with a population of limp wristed wankers that will not even tolerate you killing a fly, the beavers will be more protected than jimmy saville, there will be no one allowed to kill them even if they dig under your garage and flood your kitchen, do you think the future will be problem free in those circumstances ??

They done my lads site the other week, cut portholes in the containers with bottled gas to see what was inside then cut doors out of the ones with anything in and cleared it out ??
