Most of the populations of beavers are escapees they seem to be doing better than the release programs ?

Just heard on radio Hereford and Worcester that a small population of beavers have been spotted on the river why, I,ve very mixed emotions on this and can see a problem for the future, but atm it would be nice to see them ??

I,m close to 60 moved to Gloucester in January and am on my second job since I moved here, loads of work out there, but no youngsters coming through that seem to want to graft, wages are going up as well, I thought I’d had enough of plastering but there’s good money to made, started working for a local building firm, couple of little sets a day good wage van and fuel card, body’s groaning a bit but make hay while the sun shines, bound to be a recession round the corner ??

Apparently he was found as a chick and hand reared, he returns to the house he was reared at to roost but is free to come and go, sadly I think he will end up getting nailed by a cat or dog due to his lack of fear, there is a big oak near me and 100s of jackdaws roost in it every night but he does not take any notice of them almost like he don’t know he is a bird ?
