The price of boats has gone through the roof at the moment mate (staycation ) I would wait for the bubble to burst there will be lots of bargains then, I,ve made a few quid on boats this year but people are paying over the top for junk right now ??

Getting chilly out now so just fired up the old boiler for the first time since last January took a couple of attempts to get it going but the pipes and rads are popping away and we are cooking now ??

Sorry for the delay mate not being rude, yes I have watched him and a multitude of others so I can’t remember him particularly, the main difference with me and most of the YouTube blogger types is they are what is known as continues cruiser (also known among boaters as hedge pissers) so they don’t have a permanent mooring anywhere they just keep moving which is what I will possibly end up doing further down the road, if you don’t have a permanent mooring and just moor up on the canal bank you have to move every fortnight and in some busy areas they set a minimum distance we’re as in more rural

I,m much the same mate but without the tinnitus I,m ok when one or two people are around but as soon as there is a group with more than one conversation going on I,m out, my misses says I,m not very social which suites me but in truth unless someone speaks direct to me I just on the outside and observe, but it’s surprising how much more I learn by watching folk than engaging with them ?

I think you are trying to blame degeneration on weed mate, I,m up early work all day walk my dogs before and after, fill my water tank, cut fire wood etc then I sit down and have a joint and the misses a glass of wine, we don’t affect anyone and as I,ve said I,m a better person when I have a smoke, to many cheese burgers will kill you and to much alcohol turns many decent folk into pricks, it’s about policing yourself and knowing your own limits, c**ts will be c**ts no matter if or what they smoke or drink in my humble ??

Hopefully some heads will roll, especially if the next president is a republican as I can see the legal cases going on for years, he is very lucky under the current leadership to be a free man ?

Most of us stoners would not let our children take part in a mass drug experiment, but you did, who’s really the bad parent, I know I would rather my son had a joint than a vaccine but I guess were all different and probably none of us totally right or wrong ?

The railways are often long side canals as they both needed the flattest routes and the railway was what caused the demise in canal transport ??

I rent my house out and have a full time job as well at the moment mate though within the next 12 months will hopefully be down to part time working ??

Sorry mate, I got distracted by some fat bloke with an Akita wanting to know how to shift 14 lb. of dogshit a day made up mostly of pascoes and kebab meat, anyways back to the cherry, we still get it but get charged two different prices one for propulsion which is tax added and one for heating which is tax free, and it’s up to you to be honest and declare your usage ?? ?

Don’t know if he should be rushing in with spence after that performance though mate, he showed a few flaws I thought, porter has announced his retirement recon spence would have taken a few positives from what he saw last night, ??

My licence is like road tax and covers all canals and navigable rivers unless they are privately owned in a narrow boat you can cover over 2000 miles of waterways, but mine is a bit big and limited to about half of that though I can go to sea in it and nip around the coast if I really needed to, the canal network is like the original motorway so you can travel around most of it without getting out of the water, if I want to go to Bristol, London etc I have to go down here the Severn estuary though I,m not in any rush to do that, nice to look at but a bit of a bum twitcher in a flat bottom boat

I have a permanent birth in a marina, but can come and go as and when, I can stay out for months at a time if I want, I gave myself a year in the marina to get all the things sorted on the boat that needed sorting and get it fitted out with solar then hopefully spend more time on the canals and less time in the marina end goal would be marina from Oct to March and out on rivers and canals April to September ???
