si brown replied to Jonjon79's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Those greens are looking good, I've never heard anything good about them but your test shows different You'll have to treat yourself to an f1 or something similar, I've been on the lookout for a bargain one for a while purely For end range energy!! My cronbo needs new battery's or binning, the 95 tests are all over the shop:( Nice one Jon Atb si -
Pm jonjon He had one and regrets getting rid

cheers Renos ....the rats are fast becoming my favourite quarryhows that free hand coming on?! atb si Strength not so good at the momment so shooting all over the place Si. All the best I know you've got forces against you... but keep Plugging on, theres a few people who are good at constantly hiting The mark! Unfortunatly I'm not one of them, some times it just feels right and you hit the mark, and It's a one off shot that can't be repeated ! Keep at it Renos Atb si

More Surprises From The Super 10

I've only ever tried a couple ..... The .177 shorts were good in my old HW100 to around 45yrds. They opened right up at 50+yrds. So far, I've also had good results with them in the GSX100 to 35yrds, then I ran out of them. I've tried the .22 regulars in my TX - it didn't like them at all. These are too long to cycle in the Super 10 mag. From my fairly minimal experience, the shorts are looking best so far but, I wouldn't take that as red mate. It's a shame they don't do sample packs of them. I might give those Metalmags a go - they look like they might penetrate like the -

I once went home with a bird that could have done with washing and weighing ..... Never bother with pellets though. Life's to short. wish i could say once everyone needs to pull a few ten to two'ers before they call it a day i call it non discriminating!! think ill put some pollys on me next order... has that voymir put his prices up?! some seem steep but he's got way more choice than the shops round here! -

like it when people put up there test results nice one jon i wouldn't bother sending it off, it works well for you already and costs a fortune. its good to try different pellets, grouping well is a good thing but dropping the quarry is thing on my mind at the mo.. soft leads generally group well but its the bullit proof birds I'm not happy with, rabbits seem to drop with any! been testing loads this week mainly my h+n collection going on the harder lead will get through the feathers better resulting in more in the bag!! just need to find the one that works in the 510 and 95 i like to u -
not a problem jimmy ill get me eldest to stop over so we can go for a pint after
-
i'll borrow my mates photon and stick it on the 510 for ya bit of rat bashing / rabbit bashing with a beer bashing chaser atb si
-
yeah its a tbt, it was more or less half price on freeads never been used didn't think it would make much difference cos id polished and fettled it when if first got it and that made a massive difference but its gone from a .22 pellet on the turret to a .177 moving a few mm i cant see how polishing cylinder dose any harm! if i see a 99 come up cheap I'm gonna get one for my lad we had a kba at pindars, shifts on there were a walk in the park compared to the big web's if you can strip one of them down a 99's gonna be a walk in the park!! lol atb si

it was the spring that was causing the problem, sorted the preload and aft a bit of juggling it was sweet as a nut! this is a kit I've just dropped in my 95 the other night, it was cheap so i thought id have it! these are allegedly the same spring straight from the shop i stripped the 95 and the cap preload was non existent this new one took some pushing in but its not bad on the ft lbd bit over but ill sort that out! i take it you work on a press?! i worked on a man for a few years, what a fcuking racket but german engineering at its best atb si

Cheers Si.I do miss being a twat though haha... I've got rid of my 100's too but i was a twat way before i bought them

More or less wiped them out at the pig farm when the poison wasn't touching them:) I'm surprised a lot more people don't catch that dodgy disease they crawl all over the tractors and riding tak! Atb si
