    ive recently brought a dry stone thats done the job tidy. do you think a oil stone would be any better? i've never used a dry stone,been slaughtering since i left school and use oil stone and a good steel.thats all i've ever used and i can easily shave 100 pigs and skin 35/40 cattle before i need to sharpen it again.you do need a good steel though and there about £100.

    did they become muggy after lasering or are you on about the one's you have left.?did lasering totally get rid of them,no scar or red marks.? I just think these sleeves and shit the kids are having these days are muggy as anything.......it makes me laugh these folk trying to be all unique with their tattoos only to end up looking the same as every other c**t .......i had mine lasered when it was all quite new so left a little bit of a burn scar yes. oh,muggy as in mugs have them.muggy down here means cloudy/faded.i get it now.

    when you tattoo a pig to identify it as yours.it's a plate with spikes/needles that you cover in ink then slap it on the pig.b*****d at work slapped it on the top of my arm.big black letters and numbers.something like HV18472.dissapeared after 2 years thankfully.

    oil stone and a good steel is the best way to get the sharpest knife and it will stay sharp for longer.anything else is only good for not alot of work.basically there shit.

    i don't think they get em anywhere near as sharp as what a wet stone can and they last a lifetime.not bad for £15/20.
