Hea coming on a treat.im surprised how switched on he is.retrieves everything. Ive lamped dead rabbits with him.you know throwing them then switching lamp on.hiding them and pheasants in the day getting him to find and retrieve.all perfect. But can still be immature so just waiting.

I don't agree with that,I'm going to say greyhound but it's personnel preference. I will take your point physically but mentally salukis are a fecking enigma and that's as important as physicality.

I've got a 9 month bull x now and have to say he's been more fun to bring on then the deerhound but I would get another in the future.no doubt. don't think I'll get one like the last but saying that each one I had was better than the last so maybe it could be better.

I do Slag her off and sometimes I would take pleasure from blowing her brains out but I'm being unfair to her because she a handy edibles dog when she wants.which is quite regular really.

Funny because I have a sal bull grey from good breeding and she the 2nd worse dog I've seen won't touch teeth not even a Rat not even a rabbit if she's not in the mood.she's a weird thing.

You could argue that only saluki xs it's normal to catch hares but there shit at most other things. Ferreting you have a point but that's nets are for but they can mark as good as any and catch some bolters and a very general help. Again catching 120 rabbits a week is probably beyond them although a did get 37 between 2 deerhound xs 1 night.not to bad I thought? That slow to mature is bullshit. My last one was an absolute killer of foxes and members on here who keep bull xs can testify.prheaps they need more carefully entering. I'm not trying to say all deerhound xs bu

Why do you think they just look nice.? What can any other x do that a deerhound x can't. ? I think they can do a multitude of jobs and all quarry.

Christmas is all about boxing for me. Go to the hound meet,walk 3 miles to the hunters pub with our pack lurchers,terriers,spaniels having a mooch.drink heavily take dogs home 6ish then hit the town. Not this year I have to work Wednesday so going to the meeting walking g to the pub for a couple of soft drinks walking back for 1ish then going coursing. Probably get hammered though and not make it to work .I have warned the boss that boxing day is only a handful of days where I plan to get hammered on drink and class a's.

Goat is very popular down here. I kill about 35 a week. About 20 are Billy kids and there making 7 pounds a kg. I think the ghurkas have them in Poole.

I've had 3 I really liked them and so did most that saw mine work.the last half x I had although not fully tested because she died young was excellent.none of this late maturring or not likeine vermin bull shit for her.
