  1. Do you mean that idiot called Tony Belas by any chance Jimmy. I shouldn't really say his name as it will set Mitch off again. ?? Phil
  2. If you look at the photo Jason, you will see there is a fraction less than 2'' in front of the front mount so not difficult to move the scope further forward to make space for an 007a or even better an 007s then you could even leave the 007 on all the time if this is going to be your night gun. Your call matey. In another post, I said how badly the tests had gone using an 007s with the compact size which is a real shame as that would allow me to take the 007s off when not in use and leave the scope in the normal daytime shooting position. My gripe with the original 007a was the fact that
  3. You could always contact Mark Dempsey to see if he has any that you could have a look through as he is not far from you in Newcastle area Jimmy. Might be worth a call and I must say, I cannot fault this little gun. Phil
  4. I really like the P35 Jason, accurate and now a bit quieter now I tweeked the shroud mod and fitted a spare mod I had kicking around. The new Carm mags work a treat with 11 shots instead of 9 in the standard mag although quite often you can only get 8 in. Despite being very happy with the gun, I will be sending (or taking) it up your area to Mark Dempsey for a tune and replacement shroud / mod, not that it needs it but so many people have had the work done by Mark and raved about it that I simply want to have the same treatment for mine as this gun is a keeper. Phil
  5. Chris came over to mine as he bought my FX Streamline and I went over to his place as he was helping me with an Ultra issue, a really nice guy. It is a pity he left here, I think there was some kind of upset but not sure what happened. Phil
  6. After a bit of research and a chat with Mitch regarding a new scope for my P35, I decided to buy a Discovery VT-Z 3-12 x 40 FFP / SF. The scope arrived yesterday and I must say first impressions are really good with very clear and sharp glass. I have just done a basic zero in the garden which was spot on, A nice centre spot is really good for target sighting and now just want to get out and try on the ferals.
  7. I am surprised it was Chris (seamaster) he was a member on here and really nice chap. Phil
  8. Crown or Wildcat every day of the week. Phil
  9. I had a few shots with the new 510 in the shop last week, the first one in and have to say it sits nicely in the shoulder, a little heavy on the front but it was a very short session so not conclusive by any means and on first viewing, I would not buy it. Phil
  10. Thank you for that Mark as one old fcuker to another and it is one thing having you lot take the piss but my daughter and son in law seemed to find it funny as well ??
  11. Age descrimination..............................................?
  12. A very Happy New Year everyone. I am about to open the cards as it's MY Birthday today, the grand old age of 70, In my head I am still 30, it's not fair as I feel 90 when I get out of bed ? Phil
  13. My two mags for the P35 arrived today, it took me a few minutes to get my head around filling and fitting in the gun ( yes I know, old fart syndrome) but once sorted, really nice and far better than the factory jobs. Slick in use as well with just a few mags worth of pellets put through but so far I am impressed albeit very early days but it appears that ddark produces some nice kit. Phil
  14. ??? You know only too well me thinks Mitch ..............................gaystate

  17. No you are right Mitch, this is for short range maybe upto 35mt around the farm buildings and rat perms otherwise I would be using fac which is the norm. Phil
  18. Well you cannot knock that sort of service. This is the one I fancy Mitch to go on my P35 although as the gun is completely black, a black scope would be preferred but as yet no idea about the 007s as the shop took back the faulty one to check it out and my pal is not sure that he will bother, just stick with his 008 units, even if I do get a 007s it will not be for some time anyway as there is no way I can afford one yet. 19. Yes, losing your touch Mark posting in the wrong section, nevertheless welcome to the aging farts club. It is nice to see you on here again mate. Phil
  20. AGT seem to have a good reputation Jimmy, I think I saw some reviews on 'Airgun 101' channel, might be worth looking at but it is a bit the same as the verminator Jimmy. Phil
  21. Just looking at the website, what a large range of scopes. I want another scope, small scope, for my P35 and cannot afford another Hawke Airmax Compact but not bothered about FFP, I think I might just find one here. It is a pity the weight of the scopes are not listed on them all as I do not want another heavy lump. Phil
