  1. Just got in from comparing it to 140 tracer with 100 w bulb. And without looking at the hid 170 next to the 120 I'd say they are near on par, which I didn't expect at all. I eat my words. Took couple vids aswell. Not sure how they turned out. But the bin at 250 odd yards I could see with my eyes with the filter on, if it was a fox you could pick it up easily. Looking at the phone, don't think camera could pick it up quite as well lol
  2. I have a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie and to say, may as well get a greyhound I have to disagree. He's intelligent and easy to handle biddable, and gutsy for a pup. His coat is thick as hell amd smooth, his bone amd build is almost likr a half x except for the chest depth of that like a greyhound. Feet as like a collies, high knuckle but almost like hare foot. I'm quite happy with how he's turned out in all fairness, but he's definitely carved the collie gene well which is want I wanted from 3/4 bred. Suppose u could say why didnt I get a half x lol
  3. The 120 don't feel like it will break anytime soon, could even leather some f****r with one as well ? Iv been using the hid, which is 4200k (like a bright white, same as the led) I think halogen is 3200k, the car lights are usually 5000k or 6000k like a blue tint to them. i caught more last season using my hid than I have in previous seasons using a halogen. So don't know how light colour matters really. I do agree sometimes the halogen is easier to spot, but not always. Iv still got my tracer 140, can fit a 50 or 100w, and different heads to it as I please plus handy as a spare. S
  4. I'd say there's just as much chance when breeding any animal to be honest and il prob get shot down for it. But some animals however good they are just don't produce the right minerals. Not defending Hancock. Sally is an idiot and however nice David was to me he is a fantasist I think. Or a romancer however u wana put it. Maybe I'm a fool for giving my money over but I'm happy with my pup for now and will be the first to say of things go pear shaped. Lol
  5. Went and looked at the two and walked away with the 120 I think with the metal head. Was shocked by distance of the lamp when tested on a playing field. Lucky his lamps were better than his tea ? cheers d lloyd. Just to add stopped on way home and used the red filter and could spot rabbits 100metres away no problem. Not a bad filter tbh. Considering how poor the deben 150 with filter is this is better.
  6. i domt think people realise how many working dogs come.out of his kennels. Whether they like it or not lol
  7. Yes came today approximat 5 hours lamp time matecan I pop over and see them sometime this week. Ideally tonoght please. Lol
  8. Il get back to u on that one. Il ask the guy I know from up north. But they will be Hancock blood, so say now. Lol
  9. It's pretty obvious their attitude towards the dogs from breeding on the scale they do. I found him polite, wasn't fussed om sally. Took half of what they said with pinch of salt and walked off with a tidy pup. Rest is down to me. If it's crap atleast I can jut blame Hancock amd nothing that I may have done lol if it turns out good, il take the credit ?
  10. They won't tell you lies that's for sure. Lol. I am supprised about all the merle in one run and other colours separate. You sure it was just a pup left out o all his siblings. When I got mine the whole litter, regardless of colour was kept all together.
  11. Are the red and white back in now? What's battery life on them
  12. First people on about 16ft digs to ferrets...no thanks... Then someone posts up a merle whippet, I just can't believe it... Good pics matr
  13. Lovely dog, well built. Considering 8 months old it's a tidy start. No wonder majority get put off posting pics, most people domt get big bags regardless age of the dog. Atb witg it
  14. you think you got it rough...try owning a fecking collie x on this site.... And worse if its a hancock lol defo need skin thicker than a whippet then I tell you....hahaha f***ing Hancocks
  15. you think you got it rough...try owning a fecking collie x on this site.... ?
  16. Are people weighing therr dogs and then feeding right amount?
  17. it's changing the diet that's why the shitting. My pup was like it after a week he settled down. The food is rich so don't over feed them stick to the guidelines and then go from there after a few weeks of feeding. Some dogs may need abit more etc.
  18. The red led in that new lamp will make spotting rabbits piece of piss tho. That why I'm interested in that particular lamp.
  19. If they mostly lamp and say they need a saluki grey and nothing else will do I would seriously stop bothering with that type of crowd lol talk about kennel blindness ?. I personally don't think u will have a problem with alot of lurcher with fair amount of sighthound in to catch a few hares in the day. If your into full on coursing then saluki saturated way to go. But isn't that pup breeding like 1/4 or less collie in dam and the rest saluki grey anyway lol Nice pup anyway
  20. I personally wouldn't put up with that from a terrier or lurcher pal-funny how folk judge others when they obviously don't have their own yards in check. the reason you have kept it this long is money imo-if it wasn't the case then you 'd of rolled it into a hole along time ago?sounds like poor, lazy ,early socialising on your part pal.only time I'd tolerate aggressive behaviour is if one dog enters another's kennel/run-scraping in the back of a motor/ out on the land is a big no no.atb dcForgot amore about and trained more hunting animals than youve seen you sound like a prick lurchers may or
  21. Not my idea of a well educated working dog. . . It would have to be the best dog I had ever owned and I would never breed from that sort of characteristic. . . Its shame when you have a world beater, but its still got traits you would not want in future breeding. Hes probably a more capable worker than anything you have. He is a line dred desert dog from our own lines he is bred to kill stuff and his line are to put meat on the table daily in COO not weekend sport. If you knew anything about saluki packs you would know what traits the Alpha males and females retain and generations of Alphas co
