  1. What's the mix squirrel they look nice n healthy
  2. My dog started falling short on retrieve about 15 yards or so where he always retrieved live to hand, don't know exactly what it is, but think it was through an injury to be honest. Working on it all summer to see if it's any different come season but ball or dummy he brings in tidy. Any suggestions welcome lol
  3. I wouldn't be lamping woodland or hilly fields. But good luck to you finding what you want
  4. One at minute but getting another lurcher. I'd say you could keep 4 dogs there but would prob seperate half way if I did. But two dogs fine for me A lad I know keeps two lurchers under 23tts and 2 terriers in 14ft x 6ft
  5. Only ones j got that will upload without resizing mate
  6. I did a block kennel with 17x8ft Il put a pic up now
  7. What's people's opinion on working them and the differences noticed, obviously have to see a good few Of each cross to have an honest opinion of them.
  8. How is the dog bred to clock 37mph. A lot of people have whitnessed bedlington x whippet struggling for pace on rabbits, but at 37 mph they wouldn't struggle on hare
  9. Don't knock him, most of THL clock them miles in mid summer 12 o clock in just three days...3 months before season start to get em fit lol
  10. I still reckon more than 50% of the people with collie xs that have ended up stalking or quitting were tried far too young. My dog is very collie ish and shows traits of a collie now n again just on walks but he is nothing of the sort behind something. But then again...Iv never rushed a dog
  11. Not a problem lads. Should of mentioned it ages ago but didn't really occur to me. As he gets she loads for valley boys as is. Been getting it about 4 years lol
  12. I would of said whippet grey saluki? But rough coat maybe deerhound in it as some of the first cross bitches were quite light from what Iv seen
  13. Just messing mate. If everyone stood back and took a look at everyone else's chosen type of cross, and listen to what everyone said, within reason most xs do exactly the same thing, some more specialised than others but as lurchers go most do same thing if you ask me.
  14. "Chicken carcass/backs" ...."is this mince" lol corker
  15. Thing is whippets got shit feet, no good below 15 degrees and even then only manage 5 short runs.....
  16. and collie type lurchers always seem to be there at that time. Like a sixth sense the weird buggers lol
  17. Some good posts made by all. But reading it is any lurcher an ideal first dog? Bull x can be too much dog for people inexperienced, beddy x from what Iv seen have all been ignorant fuckers, saluki x can be sulky and gotta have certain mindset to get best out of them, collie x you need to be patient with and not hot headed, whippet x are just shivvery wimps, greyhound types got shit feet , stamina and lack everything lol Like I said earlier where's my lap dog lol Almost forgot deerhound xs the jacking b*****ds haha
