    I caught an old episode of Auf weidersehen pet earlier today and really enjoyed it again. Then it got me thinking where are all the good tv dramas for blokes? I can't think of one that shows proper working class lads in a positive light ! It think tv is run by middle class females lol

    @ johnny 777. Only joking fella at the end of the day it's a personnel yard stick . Of course if your dog goes out and works to whatever quarry you choose then he's working. It's just I've got so much respect for a digging dog that I class any other form of work as second best ! I suppose I'm a digging snob lol

    @ man of Kent. You'll find people will make a gift of a failed earth dog and say it's ok for Bushing or ratting but you're rairly find someone make a gift to a stranger of an proper earth dog! A good earth dog can be a hard thing to get but Bushing and ratting dogs are ten a penny so to speak.

    Right my two bobs for what it's worth lol. Bushing and digging dog both deserve the title "working ". In the same sense that what a postman does and a bomb disposal soldier in Afganistan are both called " jobs" it just takes a different amount of minerals to do lol

    Individual dogs good and bad in both . For me from I've seen I'd have to say is the black dog all the way ! If you take a say ten black uns ratting would they catch any less than say ten plummers? But if you took plummers digging to fox week in week out would they catch any less ? Of course I could be wrong but I dig a lot more than I go ratting so for me it's the black un IMHO

    Unfortunately it's human nature for people to let each other down no mater whether it's going out with the dogs or even more important stuff! Just when I think I've got a handle on who the users are in life another one will let you down. I try not to be bitter about it and blame myself for being fool enough to let someone mug me of and say it won't happen again , but then of course it happens again lol it makes me appreciate the few real mates I have, that have got your back no matter what . The ones that will go that extra bit without you having to ask !!!

    I know it's already been said but a good torch is always handy . A few times a dig has took longer than expected and it's gone dark and some lighting has been needed.

    I think leaving the country because it's a multicultural shite hole to live in is what the bnp would call White flight. Basiacally it's when the indigenous people cant live in there own country and they become the immigrants in another.
