True we all have a certain standard we want are terriers to reach. Im not stating I have the perfect terrier or ever had any without faults but i do have what i want now and if any that do show faults now a days are out of my kennels.
Have had 9 digs so far this season and I can swear to god lads 6 of them were dead as fxxk their would be more life in a snowman. Came on plenty fresh but after a good search out they came as Neil has stated and I to agree with him you must trust your terriers if you can't do that lads your only lying to urself. I'm sure when most of us are walking to an earth and the little fecker is doing cartwheels to get their 50 r 60 yrds away we get excited and are nearly sure in ourselfs something's home it's all good then because we are going to enjoy the time ahead. On the other hand when they come ou
Easy on lads it's clear that most people have little interest in nuttall dogs of today. But on the flipside if some guys are happy with them it's there gain or downfall not really goin to affect us either way. I've never had a nuttall or desire one and have heard to many negatives and not enough positives about them but each to there own and all that. I like Guinness but me buddy like Ale. I'm not going to tell him what ta drink.
If your terrier is keen to go its highly likely something ???? is at home. Get digging cause if you leave it they will sent you and then there is a possibility it will leave the earth for a time.
Unfortunately it is that fxxked up, alot of risk comes with asking guys you don't know. In an ideal world it could be done and should be done among terriermen but the risk out-ways the benefits. Hopefully he sorts something out
One job for them bring them out to the bog strip them naked tie them to a tree and leave them their until the fear a god is out into them. Shitbags is all they are. I hate hearing this happen to people but unfortunately it does ??
If I happen to dig behind the dog what I would usuall do is instead a pulling. I Would dig up to the dog once not tunnelling the earth to much . I hate pulling as it can cause unnecessary harm to the dog and animal.Obviously things don't always work out that way. But in generally. And I have pulled a dog by the tail and back legs together and have not harmed the dog just use common sense in the situation that you have yourself in.
I have never seen a terrier injured using a t bar and I think everyman should have one incase when out on a dig incase the box fails even if ur terrier is mute it can still lead you to ur terrier in the end if known how to us the bar correctly. Let's say collar fails how and what technique would you use to get ye terrier out.
