    Wheaten straw I use. I've used all sorts and have come back to it. Only downfall I have with it it's much messier in the kennels to sweep up and if it gets in the drain ooooo fxxk. But it provides a good warm bed

    No offence but sometimes I think asking someone who bred a terrier especially openly on the web is sometimes been plain simple nosey and a bit nosey. Apart from the obvious guys names that are out there.this could do harm and lead to a name been brought up and then maybe location later. What ever bout anti's dog thieves are glancing this also.     I'd say 2 and 3 are still young. 4,5,6 I'd say prime. As for a human being in they're prime I'd say 18-20 I'm 24 and my back feels like I'm 65? Mine are well out of there prime by 5 n 6. As said earlier all terriers different and it really does depend on what work that have done. Only one job for your back plenty a codeine to kill the pain believe me there great pain killers hard to get enough tho ??

    If I have a dog starting say 16 months doing a couple a digs I would have him digging full on the next season not holding back at this stage and seeing what he is made of and if he is up to scratch keep him going that way and hoping he keeps up that standard as long as the body is capable. Simple in my book but we all differ

    2,3 and 4 years. If they had some hard digs I think the best is leaving them once they hit five and six ease of on the digging well that's what I would do. Each to there own.

    Yes, a long way to go and if they got the frost that we got things could be delayed a bit. Did you see "Many Clouds" beating the mighty "Thistlecrack" yesterday. Proves that dogs and chickens are not the only game animals. We always knew Many Clouds was game but yesterday he proved that he was dead game. What a horse I honestly did back him what a pitty we couldnt see him for the rest of the year and what he may have achieved. A very game horse by any standards.

    I have mentioned this before they are not as accurate as the deben pinpointer. And as for collar been on the side of the wall maybe b n f should make a collar to acommidate for this as this will happen underground unless you choke your terrier by having it so tight

    My woman is great she has the spuds ready for me when I get back from a dig and makes up my food for the days digging be it soup or whatever. I'm going to ask her soon will she clean the kennels from time to time. The funny thing is I tink she would I'm taking full advantage of her why not ??

    I can only speak from my experience I have never seen or even heard anybody with a working beddy hear in Erin. That sure don't mean that are no such thing but I can honestly say I have dug in many counties in this country and never even heard as much as a whisper and that's me just been honest but I have heard loads bout other types. It is what it is I suppose.
