Hey once the camers do their job I will do mine,
-
Hi lads have any of you guys purchased and used the security camera's that send you a email or sms when a movement has been detected. Are they reliable and would the sms or email be instant once movement is detected. Im well aware they state this will happen but does it.Timing would be very important.
-
When the steady type holds his ground surely he is engaged in order to hold the quarry there if the quarry whats to move, and that comes with somewhat the same consequences as the harder type ???.
-
It this situation when approaching educated quarry the gutsy type would be the better option over all in keeping him there. Im calling them the gutsy because hate the word hard also a good point you made wottenheart . It surely takes more guts to engage with his quarry than to bay when push come to shove . And not all look like a chainsaw has been put to there face, learning where to hold is a technique many mute dogs master after a couple a digs, more so wrestling than kickboxing.

Nice dogs tink the big fellas on coke
-
You'd want to be used to tussling yourself to match him and keep him put lol
-
True, But lets just say if you happen to take a guy by surprize humping the misses or robbing your T.V and if you shout and threaten him, He will probably get buy and pass and make a run for it but if you take things into your own hands literally you will have a better chance of him staying put.
-
It is all that matters true. What happens to the yapper when your coming close on te him and his oponent wants to drive and pass him he must engage and exchange blows so he to must take blows also,so what differs from him and the other type If he chooses to stand his ground If not he must retreat or move backwards there for leading to maybe a number of holes been dug . If he meets educated stuff he will have to engage in order to hold him simple barking will not intimidate some quarry

A well behaved dog pabs. Must be a pleasure.

If a guy goes out once a week and gets two digs if he is lucky, over Oct to March roughly 21 weeks im just doing the math quickly thats 42 digs and say you have 3 working terriers and your buddy has 3 surly the harder type is Ok to have. All this shite lads digging there dogs 50 times a season gets under my skin they must have the one terrier and no time to work the other's, Im just going on the guy who works from Monday to Fri. Im no mathematician but numbers been put on dogs are crazy has anyone come across this, each yard is different but if you put it all into context does it matter all
-
You have a good chance of your pup working all the best with him
-
I suppose we all see a standard or a certain way we like our terriers to work . And should aim for all our workers to deliver that, or atleast only keep the few that do so, they would all be closly matched when it comes to work and if you have that ur going well imo. So for one to stand out to me would mean my other terriers are lacking.
-
We maybe on different view on this but what I was trying to get across is that if your terrier is there at the end of a dig each time you enter him/her all through there working life what could that terrier lack to call another terrier superior. I'm speaking about digging terriers alone not all rounders. Bushing, ratting, if you get what I'm saying stopend.
-
It's all fair game to them once they sink there teeth in they don't mind ???
-
For me the perfect working terrier is just been there with his quarry when you get down, and do this all through there working life. That will do me. No more no less I don't no what more people expect from them,to class them better than the other terrier that does the same.
-
How long did it take to wear them in lol Grade 1s are a kinda worn in when you get them but they are in very good nick. I would imagine grade 2 would have a little more wear and tear to them but still good quality. IMO if you dont mind wearing a boot that someone else has for a short time, you will get a good strong boot for a fraction of the price. BINGO. Mine did actually take a time to wear them in properly lol

http://www.ebay.ie/itm/BRITISH-ARMY-PRO-BOOTS-COMBAT-SOLDIER-95-ASSAULT-GORTEX-WATERPROOF-SURPLUS-ISSUE-/291768273402?var=&hash=item43eebe89fa:m:mM_svstWWKSEjgrXCKw_qbg. I purchased these at (Grade 1). I rate them although they are second hand they are very good quality, good ankle support, warm, and watertight. Goretex boot for a reasonable price. Just noticed their only seem to be grade 2 left after I posted now but they cost less

O for sure he is under the illusion that us humans should make way for the fox and allow them do as they please he said we should build safer pens for our hens. Well I like to leave my poultry roam around the garden and all that during the day and had the odd thief take them during light. I dont mind if he did rob the odd hen and let things be but on occasion over the years charlie has killed the whole flock or almost the whole flock. Even in the chicken pen. That to me is greed and I no how to deal with greedy b*****ds. I like the animal as much as any man but sometimes he can chooses to go d -
