    Really fd your telling me you have never seen a dog go in and hold more often than not look we all no mishaps happen and from time to time but if a dog does it 9 times out a 10 it a gooden in my books. I live in a parish that hold atleast 15 diggin men and neabouring parishes have as much. The stuff here is well educated I know i sound like a bullshitter but I no this is the case for alot of people on the emerald isle

    Hard should not mean a busted up terrier that can only do a handfull of digs, they should be called messy terriers.They are of no use really. It' the misunderstanding of the actual word some have such different views on the hard terrier and when having a conversation especially over print it can be misleading

    Where did they make short work of the fox, was it above ground because below in a tight spot face to face it's a different story imo that takes guts. Each to their own tho. Breeding 2 steady styles will leave you little chance of getting the same result percentage wise compared too putting a touch a fire in.

    Very true if you use a .243 correctly well let' just say boom he ain' getting up if a 120kg stag falls like a sack a spuds a measly little fox has no chance hollow point or ballistic point what ever your fancy. I favor terrier work over the rifle but this also must be done correctly by dog and man. It can result in a loss of fox or even terrier also it works on both sides of the sport it must be done correctly.
