  1. I found a house in a skip once. it was all broken up but I reckon if you stuck it back together it would have been worth a few bob
  2. my lad can have issues with strange dogs. he is very well socialised but lives with three bitch terriers so I put it down to a dog thing. and personally think that's normal behaviour. he has always been a good guard dog. from day one.
  3. sat for about an hour blackdog92. felt longer the midges where fierce lol
  4. that's me. lol. I really find it difficult to stop. but have managed with an artificial one. we cant all be awesome all of the time . some of us are only human with standard human weaknesses ya bunch o fuds
  5. hope you get a positive outcome . fingers crossed for you
  6. i'm sure your right fella ive had many dealings with dogs injuries and very rarely go to the vets. but this time I decided the vet was necessary. I don't know why I did .I was concerned for the dogs health and felt I didn't have the experience to deal with this . probably due to the location. and how young the dog was and the fact he hadn't had any injuries known to me to cause it. still hopefully alls well that ends well cheers
  7. I used to get some half decent shots of an old dogfox local to me. well he never made it through the winter but his offspring are doing well this fox is from the same clan not technically the best but it was good to catch up with them anyway
  8. well a few uid lighter {again) she has prescribed more synulux 250 mg twice a day for the next seven days and also clinacin 150 mg for a fortnight. thanks for your interest I will update if nessesary. hopefully not.
  9. just got a call from the vets. she says its came back as a bacterial infection she is going to prescribe more antibiotics two different types over an extended period. seemingly the infection gets a hard shell that is hard to breakdown. i'll tell you what is prescribed and i'll call that a result for now. back to the vets in two weeks for an assessment.
  10. 1 whippet lurcher one Russell one cross Russell/plummer and two plummers.
  11. thanks but I made a hash of it . a mix of camera shake and high iso has made it a bit fuzzy. its a good pic to get but it could have been so much better. plenty foxes near me ive been watching this family for a fair few years.
  12. I suppose it depends on what you call small. ive a whippet lurcher that gets in some states in cover. ive had to rescue him a few times over the years lol. my best cover dogs are on the big side around 15 inch tts. and they rattle through bramble . my little bitch tends to be a slower sort and picks her way through and yaps a bit. real handy to put through if you want stuff to walk out . its down to different work styles as well as the type of cover. if I put the bigger terriers in the quarry flies out like its arse is on fire .lol
  13. looks like a handy little dog good luck this season
  14. you cant fool me you guys are just creating a shortage to bump up the price of your prize pom crosses.

  18. cheers. i'm hopeing it will be sorted before kick off lol. i'll update when I know whats happening
  19. ive worked most breeds of terriers and the crosses. my prefarance is the plummer or the plummer cross. they really are hard to better for working on top. I have russells plummers and a crossbred Russell plummer youngster at the moment and they work alongside all the known working types and they seem to be able to shine in most company. ive only got experience with terriers so cant really comment on terrier hound or gundog crosses. if I wasn't so keen on my terriers I would opt for a spaniel or small hound
