Nice to see them though mate. I'm after a bloody squirrel But he don't come every day or he's a smart one. He has trashed some of my feeders so I set the traps in the morning and lift them in the evening. But if I'm a little late in the evening hedgehog get in there. Cheers Arry

Tried a new permission today some paddocks not much in the first two paddocks just them sheep treatment tubes. I know others had had a go there so no surprise really. Then crossed a track tried a lower paddock well was getting some signals all junk 12 bore cases but gave me faith it hadn't been done. Nothing really good but did get this Trade weight which I'm told is around Henry V11 or Henry V111 so will give me faith to have another go there. Cheers Arry

Had this trap out for squirrels last night put it on top of a stack of wood I checked it about 8am this morning and a big hedge hog had climbed up and got in it. Reset it on the ground under the feeders went up to lift then at 6pm tonight and this little tiny fella was in it. Cheers Arry

Out today was hoping for some Ceps but no luck on that front. Seen this coming up in the Grass another I had to look up "Fairy Fingers" I did get a feed though some Horse Mushrooms and couple of handfuls of Terracotta Hedgehog Mushrooms. Terracotta Mushrooms is a good safe mushroom as the only thing similar is the bigger Hedgehog Mushroom that white. Both have no gills they have spikes that you can just brush off. These were under some Hazels on a bank. Cheers Arry

Thats a pretty big Field mate. Found a few nice Horse Mushrooms today mate. Stotted them from the other side of the valley. Don't take many to fill the basket. This Button Horse has a nice example of the cogged wheel they go on about. Also nice smell of Aniseed. Cheers Arry.

This is a new Mushroom for me growing on a dead Elm. I thought I had found some Pink Oyster mushroom but as soon as I cut one and turned it over I knew it wasn't as the gills don't run down the stalk. So looking it up its called "Wrinkly Peach" Not for eating unfortunately. Cheers Arry
