Well I was out the other day would this thought at first it was a gaming piece or a small trade weight. Only to be told its a shot gun slug well its too small to be a 12 bore one so reckon its a .410 single slug. I've never seen one for .410 I used 12 bore rifled 1 oz slug. This one is 9 grams roughly. Went to a proper old fashion country show at Scorriton on the side of Dartmoor. Just £5 for adults Kids free. There must have been 100 people tossing raw eggs up through the field. If you managed to catch the egg you and your fellow catch stepped back one step further and further apart if it broke your out Cheers Arry

As Borr says to get the best cobs grow it blocks metre by a metre or more if possible. When the pollen is ready give them a tap with a cane as you go by each time they rely on the pollen falling on the hairs of the cobs. Cheers Arry -

Sorry mate no likes left as usual. I have met GM at the fishing comp a real Countryman and a gent. I have never seen one myself but I have Farmers Friends and mates that have seen the some very close as you said not bull shitters. Never went to the press never recorded them never shouted about it just would give an account if asked. I 100% believe all of them. What I would say is most of the accounts are around 20years ago but one was about three years ago. Cheers Arry
