  1. Was good Ditch, Wifey likes Duck if I'm honest I prefer Lamb. I want to try Goat and my local Butcher has just started stocking goat so will have to give it ago. Cheers Arry
  2. Had this trap out for squirrels last night put it on top of a stack of wood I checked it about 8am this morning and a big hedge hog had climbed up and got in it. Reset it on the ground under the feeders went up to lift then at 6pm tonight and this little tiny fella was in it. Cheers Arry
  3. Out today was hoping for some Ceps but no luck on that front. Seen this coming up in the Grass another I had to look up "Fairy Fingers" I did get a feed though some Horse Mushrooms and couple of handfuls of Terracotta Hedgehog Mushrooms. Terracotta Mushrooms is a good safe mushroom as the only thing similar is the bigger Hedgehog Mushroom that white. Both have no gills they have spikes that you can just brush off. These were under some Hazels on a bank. Cheers Arry
  4. Thats a pretty big Field mate. Found a few nice Horse Mushrooms today mate. Stotted them from the other side of the valley. Don't take many to fill the basket. This Button Horse has a nice example of the cogged wheel they go on about. Also nice smell of Aniseed. Cheers Arry.

  11. One thing to think about if you have a large bottle of gas out side the van is to chain it so it cant fall/be knock over and pull on the gas pipes. Cheers Arry

  15. This is a new Mushroom for me growing on a dead Elm. I thought I had found some Pink Oyster mushroom but as soon as I cut one and turned it over I knew it wasn't as the gills don't run down the stalk. So looking it up its called "Wrinkly Peach" Not for eating unfortunately. Cheers Arry

  19. This is a weird Sun Set we had in 2016 which i presume in light rain falling in the light of the Sun Set although it didn't rain. Cheers Arry
  20. Keep an eye out for the Ceps/Penny Buns in the same area they come about the same time mate. Just looked up the bracket fungi growing on the Ash. Its a Shaggy Polypore mate. Cheers Arry

  23. To be honest mate I had no idea but always interesting. So I did an iNature Seek on my phone of your picture and it came up with"Pleated Inkcaps". Cheers Arry
