  12. If you are really interested these are the two recipes I sort of muddled together as the Devon one only has the one proving. So it was the Devon one with 110 sultanas and 5 grams of mixed spice. Its bloody hansom and it not lightly to last the night Lol. Cheers Arry
  13. Heres a curious one and interesting I think. Last year I saved some runner bean White Lady seed I just saved the longest beans and dried them. All the seed were pure white as the originals. I sow the seed end of February and the germination was 100% and I was chuffed. When it came to flowering this year I had about 25% red flowers. I remembered I had two red variety one on the end of the row the previous season and they must have cross pollinated but the seed was all white. Well save some of the longest beans again and left to dry in the green house. To my surprise on splitting them for the se

  23. Right Walt This site I find very useful especially like the ID videos on most of the mushrooms. www.wildfooduk.com Wild UK Mushrooms (Fungi): Guide to Identification & Picking WWW.WILDFOODUK.COM Edible and poisonous wild mushroom identification guide. When to pick, what to look for. Photos, video, safety tips for each mushroom. The book is good as well. The River Cottage book is a good book as well. This larger book who somebody recommended of here covers a lot more with good pictures. Hope this he
  24. Yeah mate I put ferret food under their hutch ever night and they come. Squirrels drive me mad trashing the feeders. I have taken so many out I've lost count now good for the garden mind Lol. The Woman next door when she moved in moved a shed next to my boundary fence next to my feeders, I asked her not to and explained it would encourage rats. She took no notice and after every period of heavy rain now another turns up coming under the fence. Still gives me a bit of sport outwitting them. Cheers Arry
  25. I agree mate but I have to keep stuff out of site of twaty neighbours if you know what I mean. The other evening I put two traps on top of a wood stack over night still a big fat bugger climbed up and got in there. Cheers Arry
