    A friend germinates Carrot in compost in lengths of guttering then just make a little trough and slide them in it works for him. I have done short lengths like that to fill in gap before now. Cheers Arry

    I struggled as well with germination this year, I don't normally have a problem. They forked and I think its because I tipped the peat from last years Tomatos pots and dug it in. To much goodness I think. Still never too old to learn something. Cheers Arry

    Well its pissing down and blowing a b*****d so thought I would have a go at cooking some Profiteroles. I watched Rick Stein make them the other night and thought that looks easy lol. Well not as neat as his but not bad. Full of whipped double cream and real chocolate on to. Wifey is out at a pub for Sunday lunch with one of her girl friends.     Hunting will start soon Jok I'll still be at it. The Fishing Comp is a great place to meet up with some really nice guys and by christ do we have some banter there Lol. I think a lot have given up on the ferreting mate I don't know what its like every where else but here going to be a lean year I think with RHD and Mixie about. But I will see go out I love it mate. The hunting is slowly dying not just because the law but Keepers and people with night vision etc are shooting the shit out of the foxes. On one of my perm's I had all my life I love to stand on the hill listening and watching

    I have lived in the house I'm in now for about 40 years there have always been Hedgehogs in the garden and I have aways used slug pellets. I put some ferret food under the ferret hutch every night and come every night unless its pissing down or a hard frost. but I have even had small ones come in frosty weather I reckon they haven't got enough weight to hibernate. The only problem with encouraging them is the little and some times not so little shits they leave on the paths lol. A hedgehog run up beside my front steps.
