    I don't think its being miserable old fuckers Juke. I quite happy really, more happy wondering around the fields, hills and Moors. Its just the super markets and in town the public sort of wind me up walking around half asleep or in a day dream. I'm happiest out with the ferret with a mate or detecting. Most I have met off here are pretty much the same and get on great because we are similar, its all the other fuckers in the world we cant stand Lol. Cheers Arry

    I sure I have put this up before but be tolerant of me you do tend to repeat yourself as you get older. Right did a ferreting job for a Guy that owned a bakery, not your average baker all Sour dough and healthy kinds of bread. Well we done the job and got talking about the field he wanted to grow old fashion grains. He explained that modern grains had evolved faster than our body's can cope. He asked me if I suffered from reflux? Which I replied yes I think its cheese. He then asked did I eat White bread? Yes again. He then said try Granary bread. He gave my mate and me

    Grey Squirrels carry Squirrel pox and thats what kills the reds in they come in contact. I used to work at somewhere that had a big outdoor cage of chipmunks they reckon the grey Squirrels visited after waste food they all died. I've no idea if the pox can be transmitted to ferrets mind. I catch quite a few squirrels and they go in the compost lol. Cheers Arry

    Just by the answers in this thread I can tell its not just being out the woods and wild. It's feeling it all as you walk your way if you get my drift. I see people in bright clothing out for walk a chatting (Loud) never taking it all in or feeling the very essence of the nature they are in. I believe thats why we are Hunters we sort of tune in and you cant take that out of us. Cheers Arry

    Keith was a good sort think I may have mentioned before. Was on a stag do thought we crash in on his Pub and give him a bit of stick as only about 3 miles from home town. We walked in loud as f**k he got stuck in with us giving us all T shirts and getting the yard of ale out. Made for a good night. The pub was called The Maltsters at Tuckenhay he renamed it Floyd's its back to the Maltsters again now. Cheers Arry

    Your young kits are doing well, I thought they would be working about Christmas time. The more you use them now the better they will be IMO. I like your honesty and most of us have done that at least once. I had a farmer friend helping use one day we were catching a lot that day and several he caught legged and hung up only for them come back to life and be wriggling around hung up on the hedge. It all makes for memories and a good laugh after or in the pub. I love the batter when out giving each other stick for missing one lol. Good luck and many rabbits the future Tam. Cheers Arr
