Well as before there's some pretty wild accusations on this thread. Personally I'd like to see "The Warrener" come on here and put his side of the story across. Also, these type of topics tend to cause me aggro, normally an email delivered asking for the thread to be removed, mainly due to false information and slander.

I suppose its just down to preference. I find the dufus quicker to set, you can catch doubles and the traps are half the price of others. A winner on all accounts.. As said many times on here the talpex are ok for the quirky moles that tend to backfill..but if you do set the duffus traps properly I find you get a lot less fills, than if someone does a messy job of putting them in..

What you never ordered some PRO snares to go with them...Everyone needs PRO snares.. Although being serious Tegater did you get sorted with some traps in the end.. Yes I did thanks, but if I need any more in the future do you sell them? No mate, but try magnum, flatpack they do there own models or the likes of ratbait for the genuine talpex ones. Thats if your after claw style traps.

Unbelievable. Did you read what I said, showing cubs in rabbit snares, is a nail in the coffin, its showing they are indiscriminate, do as you please BUT DO NOT SHOW IT ON HERE, for anyone else sorry I had to repeat this AGAIN. Some are obviously missing the point, this full thread and the people replying in it worry me.

Logun, I apologise for calling you . its a subject close to my heart.. BUT you seem to have gone off on a tangent and I could sit here and argue all day long. As I said, showing a rabbit snare as being indiscriminate is wrong, especially sharing it on the internet. Do as you please, when your out,, Just don't condone sharing it, and if you think its a good thing to be shown on here or anywhere else more fool you..

More importantly the good of hunting. Simoman, regardless of what others may think or say. This is wrong sharing these images. No hunting/shooting publication would show these, or organisation, that apart from an ANTI one or when they are used against us. That is why I find it unbelievable that people can see no wrong.

I think not mate. Everything I need to know, I have done thousands of times over, in real life. Also comparing this post to terrierwork,,,That is the role of a terrier, they are bred to work, smashed up or not, it is there true purpose and its not comparable. Yes there is something wrong, it shows them snares are indiscriminate, its not something you want to show is it, look at the laws in Scotland, stops on rabbit snares,etc its pathetic.. Them sort of images do us no favours, its foolish and amateurish and anyone who condones sharing them on the internet, is a moron.

Illegal or not, it is not something you share on the internet..unless your some amateur or novice. or just plain STUPID. Stick to your PRO trapping group, if you have nothing constructive to say.
