    ferret attack

Possessed ferret, there's some utter bollocks spouted in them papers, if this makes the news ...sad times
  3. At least you're keeping the .22 Now you'll just have decision paralysis about which one to take out, then regretting whichever decision you make From my own experience I had a .22 and sold it to buy a singing and dancing Anchutz HMR having being whooed but all the tales of 200 meter headshots, flat shooting and non-ricochet safety. I have long since swapped back to a .22 and never looked back. The problem is when you think about shooting the HMR you imagine a lining up a rabbit, 200 meters away on a nice still summers day and casually blowing its head off - reality is somewhat disapoin
  4. Had the same happen to me a few year ago only it was a vixen feeding her cubs, splatted crossing the road from a wood, to pilfer the snares..
  5. Griff, it will be a fox or dog. Probably a vixen or dog feeding cubs.. Up to yourself, there easy enough to snare especially when they have food on offer..

  14. Tomo, wolves are apex predators they hunt in packs, they go for the big boys, i.e ungulates animals with hooves...bison,deer,etc,etc I cannot see them wasting energy on a few mouthfuls to feed the pack, for so little return..So disagree with that theory.. I think its more to do with the land and terrain they originated in...open plains, grasslands, reduced cover the brown hare was supposedly introduced just like the rabbit, the mountain hare is our true native hare.. I believe Arctic wolves will hunt hares in a manor similar to modern coursing, hunting the hares by sight and runnin

  23. I need some new rear bushes on my dampers, I'll probably just replace the full dampers as they've had a hard life.. Anyone recommend some decent shocks.. Should I just stick with oem ones..
  24. The mortality rate of rabbits is high anyway, a lot succumb to predators, disease or vehicles so its a fact of life young will be left. Its not nice, leaving young I agree..BUT..... Personally I hit them all year round, keep them down as low as possible..
