  1. I used formula one on about 60-70 bodygrips about 3 or 4 year ago.. traps still rust eventually.. No matter what you use it all wears off and would need recoating again at points. Don't bother coating fenns personally, or boiling them..
  2. Bf Goodrich mud terrains on mine, you've seen them mate, wouldn't have anything else, mine have done 60,000 now, and when there done and dusted, I'll have the new km2's on... The bf will outlast the insa no problem..
  3. Got you SB, looks a nice little setup, very clever to be honest.
  4. Anyone used this outfit, are they any good? Not made up with Hulls service by all accounts looking at customer feedback.. Maybe send my HW100 there..
  5. What about a zoom lens say 70 - 200mm ?
  6. Whats the maximum focal lenght lens it would be usable with SB?

  11. Thanks Dan, I'll rule myself out of the 200 yards ability because my 'scopeless' builds are better suited to air and rimfire ranges TBH where the shooter needs to be most covert. For the benefit of other readers, 'scopeless' allows us to use zero - or near zero IR within rimfire ranges - and needs a rifle dedicated to NV. In short it is a very low light CCTV rig with built in adjustable on screen crosshairs. A couple of vids for anyone interested, the first one shows the rig with a lens suited to 50ish yards - price is £340. Looks good SB, whats the magnification and
  12. I'm the same prop the gun up or leave on bipod if I have to jump over a fence to pick anything up normally.
  13. Ah right I was thinking more towards glare back at the scope
  14. I either just put the trap out in tunnel as it is, mesh, box or tree mounted,, occasionally use some monkey nuts to attract but not really needed depending on we're your siting the trap,

  16. You can try some bloke here http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/user/28204-some-bloke/ also try ludicrous lumens or Nite Tek http://www.nite-tek.com/
  17. I'd probably mount some on the scope or stock further back so it didn't reflect back off any scope mounted light, if fitted..
  18. I can see what your saying just a thought in the wake of the clean up I`d sooner have a good poster that's made the odd silly remark than some one that don't post at all .... my brothers a member on a car forum and if you don't post for 12 week your gone automatic and have to apply to rejoin ...... I have been a member for a long time, infact i signed up in a pub at the Parliment Sq March in person with Ian B. I dont post much, i read A LOT, , (apart from drivel, thats makes my eyes glaze over .......... ) If have something to say i do. if not i dont. IE ~ nice dog or, Welcome mate

    Poorly Finger

If there was nothing wrong with the image then why remove it, you say that its unacceptable but cubs with big holes in them ain't? Neither bothers me but you seem to be getting very finiky with some stuff.......rather childish tbh. Childish? Don't make me laugh. Now it was removed by me for a reason, the content it included, so without wasting anymore time. Do you accept that or not, or is this going to be another derailed thread? I'm the one who is ultimately responsible for the content on this website, so when people post certain comments , if they will cause problems they are r

It was me who removed it, nothing wrong with the image, it was the content posted that was the problem.
  22. You might get glare off the barrel as well Mik, might be better with some tape on that too..
  23. I had never heard of the injection in the stomach till you posted about it here. So I did some research, when they inject into the body cavity the object is to inject either the liver, heart, or kidneys. In some sates in the US they have to anaesthetise the animal and the animal has to be unconscious before they inject the animal in the body cavity. From what I read it can take up to 15 minutes for the animal to die. TC Exactly mate, cruelty in my mind, far from humane.
  24. Mik try a wolf eyes seal if you want a rolls royce, but ensure you get the pro cap with it.. Or try an xsearcher with extension tube, different league mate.. Make sure you use decent batteries the Panasonic 18650's are good. I've got a few different models, the xsearcher throws the furthest with extension tube, other than that, the wolf eyes seal is better in every way from build, spot adjustment is very easy compared to dereelight and the pro cap power adjustment is the best available, makes the nightmaster / xsearcher slacken the kneck setup, look very poor indeed..
